Last days in June

It hardly seems a month ago that I was writing my last days of May post but here we are in the last days of June with July just around the corner. We are now into the second half of the year. Time has just flown by. I wanted to share with you some photos from a couple of weeks ago when we met up with the family for a walk in the country. We met at Frensham Little Pond in Surrey as this is a good mid point us.
The Little and Great ponds were created in the 13th century to provide fish for the Bishop of Winchester. This area of outstanding beauty is now managed by the National Trust. It is such a beautiful spot and ideal for my son's dog Bear to enjoy walking and swimming off the lead.

We met for a picnic and then walked for about 3 hours exploring the many footpaths.
Here are some photos.

  6. Where to start Jane, I think your lovely inky creation which is a delight and many thanks for joining our wings theme at Penny Black and More challenge this month.

Next, hae a lovely day at Wimbledon, we are going Friday courtesy of an invitation from my dentist - funny arrangement I know, but I've spent so many hours in his chair we have got to realise we share interests and become friends.

Finally the show stealer for me are those digitalis growing wild in the meadow, totally beautiful.

  8. The time is just flying by, isn't it Jane?! You can tell by the way little Daisy is growing up so quickly - she is fast becoming a proper little toddler with a curiosity for everything, I bet! Lovely photos of your recent get together, everywhere looks so lush and full of life and it's nice to feel a bit of warmth - though I think this week may be a bit on the hot side! Enjoy Wimbledon tomorrow, but definitely take a sunhat and slather on the suncream!
Love your inky gift wallet in those pretty, watery, colour tones - so much nicer than putting money in a card! Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Lisa x
