Yet another week has flown by and we are now getting so near to my very favourite time of the year....yes CHRISTMAS!!
Four weeks tomorrow and the presents will have been opened, the turkey eaten and our family will probably be giggling over a game of cards...Chase the Ace is one of our firm family favourites.
Meanwhile I have been making some more cards and I am entering this particular one into a few card challenges.
Here it is
I have used a Lili of the Valley stamp called Angels with crib. I have coloured them with my trusty Promarkers and highlighted this with a touch of Prismacolor pencil.
I have punch cut some snowflakes in white and silver and used plenty of Stickles diamond glitter glue to give some extra sparkle. I also used silver card as backing card to give some festive shine.
My backing papers are Dovecraft and I have finished everything off with a lovely die cut bell and a blue organza ribbon.
I used a LOTV circular sentiment for my Christmas message.
I am entering my card into the following challenges;
Lili of the Valley, challenge Anything Goes
Promarkers challenge 127 Swirls and sparkles (swirls in my backing paper and lots of glitter and foil to sparkle)
Winter Wonderland Challenge Nativity (Baby Jesus)
Totally Gorjuss Challenge 108 Sparkle
Scrapbook Sisters Challenge 61 Christmas Time
Paper Crafting-Journey Anything Goes
Ribbon Girl Challenge Jingle all the way to Christmas
Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine Snowflake challenge
Thanks for looking at my card!
Today has been another incredible mild day and as I was outside tidying a little I spied that I STILL have some of my fuchsias in flower. I don't think I have ever had them last this long into the autumn. Just look at them, still adding some colour and grace to my little garden.
We are still awaiting the cold weather and have not even had more than a couple of frosty nights. How good is that! It was 15oc this afternoon. It has meant that I have been snug with my little heater on out in my studio, whenever I get any spare time, to work on the last of my cards and jewellery for this year.
I will be back with some more Studio news very soon to show you how things are coming along but will leave you with a little sneak peek of my cosy creative space taken this evening...!!
I hope all my American blogging buddies had a wonderful Thanksgiving and will now join me on the sleigh ride towards Christmas.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I hope you are starting your Christmas lists? Thank you as always for your visits and for taking the time to leave such lovely comments. It's always such a pleasure to see you here.
Bye for now,
Jane x

Lovely card, nice to see a blue card for a change and |I like the LOTV image. Good to see pictures of your fuschias, we've still got begonias and the red geraniums are still flowering as are some of the roses - but the wind is becoming ferocious so I doubt they will be there in the morning! Thanks for joining in with the Ribbon Girl challenge. Mary G x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card as always Jane, I love the blue! Can we vote for your card at any of these places, please let us know if we can!
ReplyDeleteBelieve or not I too have a fuchsia still in bloom, even in our climate, it looks just like your second one!
Your little studio is looking nice and cosy. :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend Jane,
Vivienne x
Hi Mary, our weather is so mild isn't it, nothing like the snow storms of last year! Our gardens seem to be hanging on until December.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and offering the challenge.

Oh Vivienne you are such a sweetie. Sadly no, the winner comes out via the random number thingy! Some blogs have a top 3 award but those are chosen by their design teams. I am so chuffed by you liking my cards :0)I feel like a winner! Thank you,

It snowed here heavily last night and now there's rain coming again so I do not know, really... But your little craft-studio looks so cozy and inviting, could I come in for some tea, dear?
Happy week!
