For my project today I used;
with the lovely new April showers stickers
This is what I got up to;
I made a background using distress ink sprays
and added crackle paste through the stencil. This stencil is one of the new square ones and the details are awesome.
 This is it wet

Below is it dried. I then added some more picked raspberry distress ink to the crackles
I stamped a few butterflies onto inky mop up card and
  stuck down the sticker onto a piece of vellum and then edged it with gold pen.
Then it was time to put my card together. You can see I also added some sparkly twine and a couple of flower brads.
Here are a couple of close ups;

  7. I love love love that card! I remember as a young married woman I was babysitting for a man whose wife had run away leaving him with 4 young children.. I was complaining to the old woman across the street about missing my family in Oregon and she told me.. "Bloom where you are planted." It has stayed with me to this day. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  16. The crackle paste turned out beautifully. And what a blast from the past - I gave all my Krylon pens away to a friend in France. I could get them easily at that time and had around 10 - not all gold - but I do miss them at times, despite the difficulty of drying it at times.
    This turned out beautifully. Great words, too.
    Stay safe!
