Good morning everyone it's time for my fortnightly blogged Visible Image design team post. Today I am delighted to share a second blogged make with one of the sets from the awesome brand new stamp release. There are 6 new stamp sets, which can avaible now, from the website or worldwide your favourite local stockists. I have been sharing lots of my samples over on Instagram and they also appeared on the recent live which you can catch up on over at the Visible Image You Tube channel. All these details are at the end of this post.
For this make I used the brilliant
Bring on the beers
and made 2 tags to show both the fun sentiments in this set.
This is what I got up to; I die cut 2 tags from my stash of distress reinker shaving foam marbled card. I make batches of these as they are so useful.
I always make extra elements for future projects so I stamped the glass onto a brown mix of distress inky mop up card. To keep the glasses flat as they dried I pinned them down on my magnetic board and then poured on glossy accents. I avoided the "head" Normally you want to avoid bubbles but for the glasses bubbles and drips look very cool.
Here is one dry.
I then stamped the beer head onto white card and adhered some clear rock candy glitter
I cut it out and glued it in place.
The "iced" beer bottles were a happy accident. I stamped them using black archival ink onto a sheet of Tim Holtz Kraft green metallic card, which I had forgotten to brush over with my anti static bag. When I added clear embossing powder the extra powder stuck. When heat embossed though they had a fab "iced"effect.
I stamped some labels on white card and the foil and cap part onto gold card. I cut everything out and put them together. Sorry about the blurry photo but these are taken in my studio during the late afternoon/evening when I was busy making my samples. You can see the details in my final photos. I also stamped some bottle caps onto gold card.
I stamped the bubbles onto the tags, adding some white gel pen accents and distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink and a distressing tool.
I then stamped the sentiments at the top of each tag.
I then assembled my tags.
Here they are finished.
Tag 1
with a close up of the glossy accented glass and those purposely made bubbles.
and Tag 2
with a close up of those happy accident ice chilled bottles!
and both of them together.
This is such a fun set and there are endless design possibilities with the stamps. They are also brilliant for male birthday cards. All the Visible Image links are listed below;
