For my made I decided to use another in the gorgeous new paper goods which Shery started selling this year. The set I used is one of the colorables sets Doodled coffee and tea

These are such sweet images to colour..... I love the little tea bag...such a dear little extra detail. These images are really simple to colour, I just used my watercolour pens but pens or pencils work just fine too. The card thickness and quality is awesome.

I added a mix of infusions to some card and then swiped some glitter gel through the hearts all over stencil for my card front

I then added some picked raspberry distress ink to the edges. You will see the details more clearly in the final photos.

I die cut the smallest of the crazing running stitch rectangle dies and stamped one of the sentiments from the always tea time stamp set
I added some picked raspberry distress ink and adhered the colorables in place.

Here is my finished card

and a final shot where you can see the stenciled hearts shimmering.

Free your imagination, Visible Image style

 Good morning and I hope you might have enjoyed some sunshine last week? We have had the most glorious sunny week here in Surrey and the autumn leaf colour has been spectacular. It really does inspire my making. Today I am sharing a slimline card and bookmark made for my Visible Image design team post. Before I start I would like to give you a heads up that they have a HUGE Black Friday sale going on at the moment and all the products I am using today are in it. Some have 70% off! Do check it out. I have added some direct link to the products in my post but you will find all the sale products here.

I worked with Free your Imagination using every stamp in this awesome set (and yes all the products I worked with are in the sale, this set is just £7.99 instead of £11.99)

I added some stenciling using the Lava stencil (£2.99 from £5.99)

and some background stamping with some of the uber useful stamps in Universal. (Just £5.99 from £11.99!) If you don't have this in your background stamps stash it really is one to have!

This is what I got up to ;

I used one of my A5 size distress re-inker shaving foam backgrounds from my stash and then added the gorgeous new Villainous Potion distress ink through the stencil.

From the card I cut a piece for a slimline card and a bookmark.

I stamped the bird in black Versafine ink and clear heat embossed.

I then added gold heat embossed swirls and stars using the Universal set. I also stamped some of the double rings in the set using red ink. This gave the backgrounds lots of texture and depth.
I stamped the books in blue and also for just the card the open part in grey ink and cut them out.
I also stamped and white embossed the feathers on black card, seen below, and some of the potion pots and the sentiment (seen in the final photos.) I cut everything out, adding some gold ink to the pots and a black mat to the sentiments.
Then it was time to put my designs together. Here is the finished card;
and the bookmark;
with a close up of the card;
and one final shot.
I really enjoyed making these and creating a card with a matching bookmark always makes such a unique gift.

More Christmas drink gifting for Country View

 Good morning it's time for my 2nd  design team post for Country View Challenges the theme for the month is "Christmas gifting" in other words your make needs to be anything other than a card.

As always there is a fab £20 voucher up for grabs for one lucky randomly selected winner to spend on the website.  You can find all the details of the challenge and more examples made by my talented teamies here.

For my first make I made a Christmas gin tag

 if you missed the details you can see it here;

For today's make I kept with the idea of making a gift tag to hang around a bottle, this time I have gone from gin to wine.

I used the brilliant new Visible Image  99% chance of wine stamp set.

There are so many awesome stamps in the set...the wine swoosh is fab!

Here's what I got up to; I sprayed candied apple distress stain spray onto card

and die cut a tag from it

I stamped the wine glass, wine swoosh and one of the awesome sentiments from the Visible Image
I also stamped and coloured the holly leaf in this set and cut it out.

I painted some embossing ink onto the glass and triple clear embossed to make it look like a real glass.

I stamped the wine bottle onto different pieces of card and decoupaged it to make it look like a bottle of red wine.

I added a bit more stamping to my tag including Father Christmas and his sleigh from the delightful

Christmas eve VI stamp set

I stamped the stars and star swoosh in gold too for some extra details.

and added the holly to the bottle neck. Then I backed my tag onto gold glitter card.

So here it is finished;

with some close ups

and here it is on a bottle of red...all ready for Christmas gifting!

I hope I may have inspired you to join in with our November "Christmas gifting"challenge. You can use any stamps/products, the choice is yours.
You can enter our challenge as many times as you like and combine with other challenges. There is also a £20 crafting voucher up for grabs to the lucky randomly selected winner to spend over on the Country View Crafts on line store. Once again all the details for the November challenge are here.

Susan has all the awesome new Visible Image release in stock which was released on 29th October plus a large selection of their stencils and stamps you can see them all here.  Remember that UK postage and packing from CVC is FREE on all orders over £7.50!

Bring on the beer!

  Good morning everyone it's time for my fortnightly blogged Visible Image design team post. Today I am delighted to share a second blogged make with one of the sets from the awesome brand new stamp release. There are 6 new stamp sets, which can avaible now, from the website or worldwide your favourite local stockists. I have been sharing lots of my samples over on Instagram and they also appeared on the recent live which you can catch up on over at the Visible Image You Tube channel. All these details are at the end of this post.

For this make I used the brilliant

Bring on the beers

 and made 2 tags to show both the fun sentiments in this set.

This is what I got up to; I die cut 2 tags from my stash of distress reinker shaving foam marbled card. I make batches of these as they are so useful.

I always make extra elements for future projects so I stamped the glass onto a brown mix of distress inky mop up card. To keep the glasses flat as they dried I pinned them down on my magnetic board and then poured on glossy accents. I avoided the "head" Normally you want to avoid bubbles but for the glasses bubbles and drips look very cool.

Here is one dry.
I then stamped the  beer head onto white card and adhered some clear rock candy glitter

I cut it out and glued it in place.
The "iced" beer bottles were a happy accident. I stamped them using black archival ink onto a sheet of Tim Holtz Kraft green metallic card, which I had forgotten to brush over with my anti static bag. When I added clear embossing powder the extra powder stuck. When heat embossed though they had a fab "iced"effect.
I stamped some labels on white card and the foil and cap part onto gold card.  I cut everything out and put them together. Sorry about the blurry photo but these are taken in my studio during the late afternoon/evening when I was busy making my samples. You can see the details in my final photos. I also stamped some bottle caps onto gold card.

I stamped the bubbles onto the tags, adding some white gel pen accents and distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink and a distressing tool.
 I then stamped the sentiments at the top of each tag.
I then assembled my tags.
Here  they are finished.
Tag 1
with a close up of the glossy accented glass and those purposely made bubbles.

and Tag 2
with a close up of those happy accident ice chilled bottles!

and both of them together.

This is such a fun set and there are endless design possibilities with the stamps. They are also brilliant for male birthday cards.  All the Visible Image links are listed below;
