  Remember that when you buy from the Country View Crafts website UK postage is FREE on orders over £20.00 I have added some live links within my post to take you to some of the products I used.

For this make I decided to go festive as it is only 1 month tomorrow until Christmas Eve. Are you ready? I also wanted to make something using the awesome new Visible Image co ordinating dies which are in stock over on the CVC website and the new distress pencils.
I used the Keep your gin up stamps set available  here

 and it's co ordinating dies set  available here
with the beautiful VI Christmas Eve set and a sentiment from Sentimental Christmas (currently out of stock but if you email CVC they can get them in for you).
This is what I got up to;
I coloured the stamped and die cut images with pencils from the #3 distress pencil set I LOVE these pencils.
I have done a lot of colouring with the pencils check these out.

On a white tag I stamped the trees from the Christmas Eve set in green ink and clear empbossed them.
I then stamped the sentiment.
I added some spritzes of distress mica spray
and stamped the stars in silver pigment ink.
Then it was time to put everything together .
Here is my finished tag.

Totally toadstools

 Hi everyone, it's time for my fortnightly blogged design team make for Visible Image. Today I am sharing a make using the new coordinating dies. If this is news to you, 8 fabulous new coordinating die sets were recently released to cut out their popular drinks, autumn creatures and T shirt sets. Plus a little heads up that they are in the amazing BLACK FRIDAY SALE which is currently running over on the website until 27th November. Check out all the amazing bargains here; some are 70% off!!!

For today's make I am showcasing the awesome Totally toadstools stamp set  available here

with their co ordinating dies available here.

This is what I got up to; I sprayed ice spruce, rustic wilderness and shabby shutters distress stain sprays onto white card to create some "leaf" colour backgrounds for stamping and die cutting. I added water to get the inks to move and blend and then left them to dry.

Using the large foliage stamp from the set I stamped multiple times using green Versafine inks across the inked sheets.
I also used these 2 colours to spray the background for the canvas.
Next I randomly stamped the other foliage stamps from the set around the edges and the sentiment as shown below.
I die cut the foliage  using the coordinating die and inked their edges with vintage photo distress ink.
I stamped some more foliage as shown below. I then adhered the die cut foliage  around the edges of the background to make a frame.
Next I stamped lots of the toadstools from the set and coloured them using my distress pencils.

I die cut them out.
Then I put my central design together using 3D gel glue to raise some of them up a little.
I matted the panel onto red, then white card and finally onto a black square of card.
Here is my finished make

Hedgehog hugs and the new Visible Image coordinating dies

Hi everyone, it's time for my fortnightly blogged design team make for Visible Image. Today I am sharing a make using the brand new coordinating dies which were released last week. If this is news to you, 8 fabulous new coordinating die sets have been released to work with their popular drinks, autumn creatures and T shirt sets.

Here they are;

As an introductory offer for the moment there is a also massive 30% off the new dies. Just use the coupon code DIES30 at the checkout.

The sets I am using today are the gorgeous Hedgehog hugs. The stamp set is on the website here and the dies here
I decided to make a canvas to fully showcase the versatility of these fab new dies.

 This is what I got up to;

Using squeezed lemonade, crackling campfire and mustard seed distress oxides ink pads I blended them across a 6X6" piece of card.
 Using crackling campfire again I laid on the autumn leaves stencil

and blended the colour through using an ink blending tool.
I added some drips of water and blotted them off

and also some flicks of Bubbling Couldron distress mica stain spray.

I left everything to dry.
Next I stamped and die cut my elements.

and added some colour to them with distress pencils, inks and glitter pens.
For the base of my canvas I used a piece of corrugated cardboard, one of my favourite free substrates! I ripped the edges and sides. I sprayed it with distress mica stains and then added some gilded foundry wax for some extra shine
I distressed the edge of my leaf panel with a distressing tool and adhered it to the card. Then I started putting my design together.

The dies allow you to layer up lots of fun layers without having to fussy cut them. They also give beautiful smooth rounded edges to your images.
As a final touch I added some flower soft as moss.

Here is my finished canvas;
