Creative stamping Magazine issue 92

Hi blogging friends I thought I would just pop in and share my latest magazine design team commission for Creative Stamping magazine. Issue 92 of Creative Stamping goes on sale in the shops today. The 2 sets of stamps which come with this issue are just perfect for sporty peeps and for cards/projects for younger adults, which are often quite hard to design for. Also the sentiments in the A4 set are really inspiring.

Obviously I can't share all my makes here...you would need to buy the magazine of course 😉 but this is my racing card card which you can spot in the bottom left corner of the cover.

Below is my sneak peek card which if you click on the link here you can also get step by step instructions for.
This is my own photo of the card
As always  I made an extra card or 2 using the stamps and this is a sneak peek of my son's birthday card for next month. The background was made with distress inks. He is an avid tennis player and fitness fan and the stamps were perfect to use.
Here are some close ups of the very cool stamps, I even coloured the trainers to match the ones he has!

and one last shot....…literally....with the tennis ball 😊
Issue 92 can be bought from Supermarkets etc (if you still go into them!) or on line from several suppliers including  Craft Stash (and no I don't get commission from them!)

I would like to enter my tennis card into the following challenges;

Stamping sensations 2/3 favourite stamps
Simon says stamp Wednesday make your own background
Through the craft room door anything goes
Passion for Markers anything goes my markers are Zig watercolour brush pens
Crafty sentiments anything goes

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you are all staying safe, well and busy.

Back soon,

Bye for now,

Creative Stamping Magazine, a double appearance in Issue #83

I am delighted to appear in two features in this month's Creative Stamping Magazine which is for sale now. I feel the best way to purchase this in these difficult times in on line.  Here are 2 links I can suggest (I am not sponsored by either in any way); https://www.craftstash.co.uk/creative-stamping-magazine-83.html  or here https://www.moremags.com/creative-stamping-magazine-issue-83
I have a 5 card commission as part of the magazine design team and I also appear in a feature showcasing for Visible Image stamps.  I was delighted to get my copy  in the post this week, it really is a bumper one and I admit it is always a thrill to see your own work in print, especially as a double appearance. It came at a good time too and cheered me up after such a tough week.

This is the front cover with my Moon Gazing Hare card waving out from the bottom right hand side.
and the delightful free stamps which come with this issue called Enchanted Woodland.
Below is the "official magazine" close up photo of my Moon Gazing Hare card.
I am only obviously only allowed to share the "official" photos here and on social media to comply with copyright restrictions.
I can't share the rest of my makes here, you would need to buy a copy of the magazine 😀,but I thought I would share one of the "extra" makes I made for myself using the stamps. When I am designing I make several cards and designs and often have one or two that I don't use and are not sent in for publication.

Below is one of them where I used the gorgeous free owl stamp and some of the branches together with the Happy Birthday stamp.
The background is distress oxides on specialty stamping paper and the circle insert is coloured using  Infusions. I stamped the owl onto card, coloured him in and then raised him up with foam fixers. I continued stamping the branches into the inner circle to add to the depth of the card.
I would like to enter my owl card into the following challenges;

Pixie's snippets playground #375 I used a snippet of card to stamp my owl on before cutting him out.
Allsorts 1/3 something old, something new.... my old is my circle die I used to make my aperture, the new is obviously my new stamps.
Cute card Thursday 2/3 anything goes
Love to craft 3/3 anything goes
Lil patch of crafty friends 1/3 anything goes
More mixed media 1/3 anything goes
Sweet stampin 1/3 things with wings
We love to create 1/3 anything mixed media
Penny Black and More 1/3 anything goes
Crafter's castle 1/3 anything goes

Before I close I would like to thank everyone for the kind, thoughtful comments they left on my last post about Bear. I had not realized that even from afar, through my blogging and his visits here,  how much he was loved. I also received some cards and wonderful emails too...how thoughtful everyone is.  I am truly humbled and it shows how caring our creative world is.

Stay safe and thank you again.

Thanks for stopping by,

Back soon,

Bye for now.
