I try to link up the products I use in my posts but obviously stock on the CVC website sells out quickly . Some may be out of stock when you click on the links. If they are just fill in the email notification and you will be emailed when they are back in stock. This is the link to the website   Remember that postage is FREE on all UK orders over £20.

The prize this month is a fab stash of seaside themed products by Art by Mylene.

I recently bought one of the brand new Andy Skinner stamps Best friends. It has been a while since a new stamp range has had that real WOW factor for lots of people, including me. The crafting world has bought these up by the score but Susan still has a few in stock if you are quick. I teamed it with the shells from the lovely Visible Image At the beach stamp set to make my seaside themed card. A little heads up that this set is now discontinued and Susan is one of the few UK stockists who still has a few in stock. If you would like to add it to your stash act quickly as when they're gone they're gone!

This is how I made my card. First I stamped the girl with  Nocturne Versafine clair ink and the seashells using Acorn.   I also added the lovely sentiment from the Visible Image set underneath her.

Using squeezed lemonade squeezed lemonade distress ink and a round blending tool round blending tool I made a sun in the sky.

and grounded the girl on some "sand".

Then using a mix of mermaid lagoon mermaid lagoon and salty ocean distress inks salty ocean distress inks  I created a sky and sea.

I added the inks using a damp paintbrush.

Using vintage photo distress ink I also added some colour to the shells. Here is my finished card again

 Our challenge is open worldwide.

Remember you can find me most days over on Instagram here @jane.tyrrell where I share many, many more makes than I have the time to blog.

I coloured the paper doll with distress pencils

I added some stamping to the background using some old Tim stamps and distress archival inks.

I then put everything together and distressed the edges,

finishing off with a stamped sentiment and an off cut of some film strip die cut.

A Visible Image golden wedding.

Hi everyone and welcome to my fortnightly blogged design team post for Visible Image. We are now heading into a hopefully, flaming June, and the beginning of summer. Summer is popular time of the year to get married and to celebrate wedding anniversaries.  My card today has been made for the golden wedding anniversary of my son in law's parents.   Yes 50 years of marriage. (My husband and I are not far off as we celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary next month). This is the special card I made for them. As such It has lots of extra details. Obviously you could scale these down and use the basic design to make something similar.

I used the following Visible Image products;

Anyone for Anyone for bubbles? stamp set

with their coordinating dieswith their coordinating dies

and the anniversary sentiment from

Plus for the background the Bubbles and fizz

and the "Heart ink" stencil.

This is how I made my card.

I cut a piece of white smooth card 4 1/2" by 7 1/4". I sprayed a little squeezed lemonade distress stain spray and added a mist of water then dried using a heat tool (or leave to dry).

Using the Bubbles and fizz stencil I added some colour using the 3 distress ink pads shown below with a round foam blending tool.

I die cut a "50" using gold card with the balloons dies.

Next I placed the heart ink stencil near the top of the card and blended through wild honey distress ink.

I stamped the "fizz" stamp inside the heart using Morning mist Versafine Clair ink.

I stamped the bottle onto green card using Nocturne Versafine Clair. I repeat stamped the image onto white and gold card and cut out the elements as seen below. I then "decoupaged" them onto the green bottle.

I also stamped the glasses using Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and coloured them using antique linen distress ink applied with a paintbrush. I stamped a few bubbles inside the glasses. I stamped the Congratulations and Happy anniversary sentiments at the top and bottom of the card and clear heat embossed them. I then adhered the bottle and glasses in place and added some gold pen detailing.
For some extra dimension and shine I added Glossy accents to the glasses and some dots of it inside the heart. When dry I matted onto gold then black card and finally onto a white card blank cut from an A4 sheet of card.

For a finishing touch I added some of my signature sequins.

Here are a couple of close ups

and one final shot.
