Happy Monday everyone and welcome to my weekly dose of Visible Image stamps inspiration. Today I am sharing another creation of mine using the stunning Create you calm stamp set.
It's still too cold yet for seahorses but it is lovely to see some February flowers. I spied these hellebores at the garden centre last week
such delicate elegant flowers..even in the winter they create beauty and calm on a damp February day.
This is the lovely stamp set I worked with which is available to buy now on the Visible Image website here. The new stamps should also be in stock at your local craft shops very soon.
I used all the stamps in this set, the little waves/bubbles make such a cool background.
I used Paperartsy fresco acrylics to make my sunny sea background. I swirled my paint around to give a feeling of the sea and added some "sunshine" in the centre.
I stamped my sweet seahorse in the sunshine using Versafine Clair ink.
I then embossed the waves in white and blue and the sentiment in white.
I added some white highlights to him.
and finished off the edge of the "sea" with more embossed waves.
I made a "frame" for my picture using photo corners.
Here it is finished.
This really is such a delightful stamp set to work with...and it makes me long for summer to hurry up and arrive too.
I would like to enter my seahorse into the following challenges.
