The return of the STAMPlorations challenges

Today is a very special one..it is the return of the STAMPlorations challenges.  If you saw my Instagram post here you will know that after her 4 year breast cancer battle, our fearless Shery reopened her online shop last November. Today she has also restarted the challenges. For now it will just be a single "anything goes" challenge. 

The prizes are; 1 winner of $25 code to spend on the website, which will be chosen by a STAMPgirl from entries that use STAMPlorations products

Plus 1 winner of $10 code will be randomly chosen from entries (need not feature a STAMP product). 

You can make any type of project in any style. You just need to link back to the challenge post (if blog entry) or tag @stamplorations if joining via IG and share the challenge graphic in your post. If you use IG please add the challenge graphic as your 2nd photo.  There is even a free digi image Shery has added for you to download and use too. 

Please ensure that you read all the full rules here before you add your project to ensure your entry complies.

I chose to make this card as I think it sums up the brave cancer journey that Shery has been through.

I made a distress stain spray back ground and usedthe gorgeous Say it big Soar stamp sentiment with the Perched bird die cut in black card. 

You will also spot the birds from Trendy Birds 2 stamped in blue in the background.

New card fronts from STAMPlorations

 Hi everyone I am delighted to share one of the new products that Shery of STAMPlorations is launching today. She has 14 gorgeous new card fronts in her online store. You can see all the card fronts now available here .

I was sent the new Vintage flowers set to play with. 

There are 4 beautiful floral card front designs in the set, 2 of each designs, making 8 in the pack. The cardstock they are printed on is beautiful quality and really thick (325gsm).You can see all the designs here. Of course you can simply attach them and make an instant card but I had a play with 3 of the designs and made these 3 cards.

I thought you might like to see a few process photos for my designs. For this card front below

 I cut it into 4 equal pieces

 added Trendy blooms and make a wish die cuts

 and made this card.

For my 2nd card I stamped and white embossed the sentiment from the Thank you coffee stamp set, onto black matting card. I cut across and around the bird to make 2 separate parts.

I stuck the top part onto black matting card

 added foam tape under the bird 

and stuck it slightly underneath the top part to make this card.

For my final card  I die cut the card front using one of the Crazy double running stitch rectangle nesting die

 and added some Trendy blooms die cuts. The stamped sentiment is from  Thank you coffee. I adhered the "waste" in place on red matting card. I raised the card front using foam tape, stuck it in place

and made this card.
