Creating another Halloween scene for Country View's October Challenge

Good morning I am back with my 2nd project to hopefully inspire you to join our October, "Halloween, make a scene" challenge over at Country View Challenges.  You can find all the details of the challenge and more examples made by my talented teamies here.

It certainly turned chilly at the weekend and felt very autumnal. It rained for hours.  It was good weather for ducks though and my sweet dinos. Ringo came out of the water to say hello and eat some food from my hand...

She is just the sweetest!
For my 2nd make I decided to use my new Tim Holtz curio box XL Bigz die to make something for decorating my porch for Halloween.

This is what I got up to; I used crackling campfire, mustard seed and barn door distress oxide sprays on  watercolour card and then die cut the front of the box,

I stamped and white embossed spiders' webs using my Tim Holtz skulls and cobwebs background stamp set.
I die cut his new spider and web thinlets set in glitter card and stuck it in place.
For the inside of my box I stamped and white embossed on black cardstock and also added some more die cut webs.
I stamped and coloured a Tim pumpkin, of course, and propped it upright on the base. I also stamped and cut out a skull. These are stamps from the Halloween 4 set.
I added a few finishing details.
 Here is my finished box.
with some close ups..boo!

and one final shot.
I hope I may have inspired you to join in with our October, "Halloween, make a scene" challenge. You can use any stamps/products, the choice is yours.

You can enter our challenge as many times as you like and combine with other challenges. There is also a £20 crafting voucher up for grabs to the lucky randomly selected winner to spend over on the Country View Crafts on line store. Remember that UK postage and packing from CVC is free on all orders over £7.50! Once again all the details for the October challenge can be found  here.

This spooky box will be making an appearance in my porch when I decorate it at the end of the month.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Back soon

Bye for now
