Rooted, the gorgeous new release from Visible Image

Hi Everyone, I'm very excited to share my first Design Team sample using the brand new Visible Image release. Rooted is a set of 4 beautiful nature inspired stamp sets and 4 wonderful stencils.

It is being introduced today on HobbyMaker TV by Mark Alexander. The show is at 3pm. And for a double dose of inspiration at 7pm he is showcasing "The light you carry" release which debuted a few weeks ago.

You can view both shows for up to 7 days here You can check the products out on the website here with lots of new release bundles deals too,

I have previously shared these cards from "The Light you carry" release on Social media.

Keep moving

So for my first Rooted design team sample I've gone for gold today sharing the card I made using the gorgeous Rooted "Sanctuary stencil" with a sentiment from Wild Pine💛✨

I absolutely love the intricate details of this stencil, particularly the beautiful Gothic-style window and all that wonderful distressed lettering and texture.

For my card, I used gold stencil paste over an Infusions background I had in my stash.

The contrast between the rich metallic gold and the darker areas of the background really makes the design pop. I love how the raised paste catches the light and adds so much dimension and interest.

There's quite a lot going on in the background, so I wanted to keep the finishing touches fairly simple and let the stencil do the talking!

I chose the sentiment "tomorrow begins today" from the Wild Pine stamp set. I think it's such a lovely, positive message and works beautifully with the Sanctuary design.

I stamped it onto white card, layered it onto black and positioned it across the lower part of the panel. A few little clear dewdrop embellishments added the finishing touch.

Finally, I mounted everything onto black card before attaching it to a white card blank. The black border really helps to frame all those gorgeous colours and metallic details.

Here it is once more

I think this stencil has so many possibilities, from dramatic mixed media backgrounds to more subtle designs, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with it further.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope I've inspired you to get your stencils and texture pastes out and have a play!

and here is a sneak peeks of a few my other samples that I will be sharing over the coming weeks.

Happy crafting!
