There's a Bear in the woods..and the results of my giveaway

I am sure everyone in the UK has been thoroughly fed up with the weather for the last week, it has been truly diabolical. I have even had my central heating on..I cannot remember the last June that has happened. For parents with school age kids it has also been half term week. You poor things, you have my sympathy as I can remember how difficult it is keeping young children entertained when the weather is so inclement. Last night the winds were whistling so loud they kept me awake and we are told there is still more to come. I therefore decided that I needed to write a nice sunny post and a good subject would be to give you an update on my son's wonderful puppy Bear.

2 weeks ago (when it was very hot) we went out to the woods with him for the first time. He was such a good boy. He walks off the lead and comes to command all the time.

I think he looks like a lion here from behind.

It was lovely to be in the cool of the woods on such a hot day. Bear loved sniffing at everything but never wanted to wander far and loved lots of pats...

and paw shakes!! He has grown so much and his ears stick up now most of the time. His paws are huge and there is still plenty more growing to do.

Sometimes his ears meet in the middle. We enjoyed a lovely long walk but at one point Bear asked for a carry so Matt obliged up the hill

and then Charlotte took over.

Then it was the home flat back to the car.

Bear really enjoyed his first long walk and as you can imagine when he got home he slept like a baby.

The other part of my "sunny" post is to announce the winners of my recent Jubilee giveaway. I had 16 ladies who asked to be put in the hat

Drum roll.......

Here are the lucky winners,

1st out of the hat was Mia  , 2nd was Teje and 3rd was Debi Well done ladies!
I wish I had a prize for everyone but thank you to everyone who entered and I found the Market Research very useful indeed. It appears that on the whole cupcakes and gardening seem to be the favourite theme of my cards.

And to give you something cheerful and sunny to end my post here is my Challenge card for today.
It's a gardening card using my very popular Gardener's Delight digi stamp from Ladybugcrafts ink. I have hand coloured it using my Promarker pens and highlighted it with my Prismacolour pencils.

Here is the image in close up. I used some lovely ladybird backing paper from my Jack 'n Jill papers and used a wheelbarrow and fence die cut to really give it an outside feel. I finished it off with some hand punched Martha Stewart butterflies and a couple of red pearls. The sentiment is a new one from Lili of the Valley.

This card is for sale here in my Etsy Shop

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges;
Whimsy Challenges Things with wings #42
My Mum's Craft Shop Let's play Bingo #60 my line is across the top: flowers, pearls, die cuts
Papertake weekly anything goes
Stamping for the weekend bugs and butterflies #11
Stamping with the dragon water

I hope I have been able to inject a little sunshine into your part of the world today. Have a lovely weekend and thanks again for all  you visits and lovely comments and many congratulations to the winning ladies. Fingers crossed that this weather will improve and for those who are counting the days with me it's 50 days to go ;0)

Bye for now,

Jane x
