August Daisy crafting

I am back as promised with some photos from Daisy's (my 5 year old granddaughter) stay last week. My studio seems very quiet without her. She really loves spending lots of time crafting, suits me just fine!
She saw my Visible Image mermaid stamp set and wanted to use the dolphins so we stamped them out
and she coloured them in. She created green
and blue spotted dolphins..of course! I cut them out for her.
She wanted to make some more artist trading coins into badges. These are her jelly fish and dolphin ATC badges made for her Uncle and her brother.

We also saw lots of butterflies in the garden so she wanted to make a butterfly wall hanging for her door. She loves my Stamplorations butterfly so that is the stamp we used for it. We used acetate for the wings and also stamped underneath too so that the wings could "flap".
She was very very precise as to how many and what colour sequins she added and where exactly to place them. She really has an excellent eye for design for a 5 year old.
I put some baker's twine on there and she was good to go!
And this was Daisy at the swings just before we set off to take her home on Saturday..with her beloved Annabelle dolly. Special times as always and wonderful memories of her time with us. She really is as sweet as she looks, a really good egg with a heart of gold.
My card for today is a new one for my shelves at Dotty's teahouse.
The dragonfly stamp is Visible Image, the sentiment an old Lili of the Valley and the cup and saucer die is Marianne. The backing paper is ancient from my stash.

 I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

Pixie's snippets playground #358
Stamping sensations 1/3 things with wings
Through the craft room door 2/2 anything goes
Simon says stamp Wednesday add a die cut
Crafters Castle 2/3 anything goes
Crafty Calendar anything goes
Crafty hazelnut's patterned paper challenge August

I would also like to enter Daisy's ATC coin badges and butterfly door hanger into the Simon says stamp August kids challenge  Anything goes which sparkles
And also I hope Di doen't mind to the playground too!! #358

After the lovely comment from Lols of the Simon says stamps Wednesday challenge I am also entering Daisy's badges into the challenge. The badges are a die cut! This is the link Thanks Lols!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you are all well. I am sorry I have been rather MIA with my blogging but I am still knee deep in making Christmas samples...I will be sharing my first one on Monday.

Back soon,

Bye for now,
