Giveaway winner and my little Christmas gift to you all.

Ho Ho Ho, here we are at 1st December, my countdown to Christmas really has begun now.
My advent calendar is up and I have opened window number 1.

I just love these retro beauties, they take me straight back to my early childhood in the late 60s.

I will have fun opening a window every morning until Christmas Eve.

Even the weather has turned more festive and we have woken up to heavy frosts for the last 2 days. I just love the patterns that Jack Frost leaves on the plants in the garden.

My Mum had her birthday yesterday and on Thursday she came over for a meal so I asked her to pull out the winner in my recent giveaway. Thank you to all the ladies who entered and also to everyone who left such sweet comments on my 200th post. Without any further delay the name which came out of my teapot was..............................

Well done to Caz who would like an afternoon tea bag charm with a pink theme. Please email your postal addy Caz and I will get this in the post to you next week. You can also choose the 2 charms you would like added.

I also decided to offer a little Christmas gift to everyone who did not win.  I am giving a 15% discount in my Etsy shop for the next week. Just enter the coupon code CHRISTMASISCOMING at the checkout and the discount will be applied. You can stock up on any last minute Christmas cards or bag charms or even get ahead for birthdays and celebrations next year. I strongly advise any of my American friends not to leave it any later than this coming week for buying anything from my shop that you need for Christmas. The last Royal Mail date for posting to the USA, Australia and New Zealand is officially Monday 10th December but I really think that this week should be the last. For my EU buyers the last date for posting  is 12th December and for the UK is 20th December.

We hope to go to look for our tree on Sunday and will get it delivered in the week to be set up next week. I can't wait. I so enjoy getting out all my ornaments. I have my new gingerbread man who will join my other ornaments. I also have the sweetest Kathe Wohlfahrt wooden smoky standing decoration which my darling daughter picked up for me on a recent trip to Bruges. It is a sweet limited edition piece.

These wooden smokey's open up at the base and an incense cone is put inside and lit. The smoke come out the top like a little chimney filling the room with even more festive fragrance.

Would you like a peep inside?

Well hello, who have we got here?

Isn't he sweet.

This particular piece is called O Christmas Tree (in German) It is limited to 10,000 pieces world wide and even has a Swarovski crystal in the star at the top. I am delighted with him especially that he came all the way back from Bruges.

I also have adopted a totally gorgeous bunny from my dear friend Vivienne who has this lovely Etsy shop and who also write a charming blog.
She is called Holly, just look at this cutie.

She even came with her own little Birthday certificate. Although Vivienne's bunnies are only "born" one at a time, rather than made to order, she has some other lovely items in her shop. Do pop over there and take a peep.

My card challenge card today is also for sale in my Etsy shop and yes there is even 15% off this one if you use the coupon code.

I have used my Milly Winter Window, one of my beloved LOTV stamps. I have coloured her with my Promarkers and highlighter with Prismacolor Pencils. I have added some glittery bling to her cuffs with Glamour Dust. My papers are a free Sizzix download and I have also used a snowy Marianne corner die cut . The sentiment is also LOTV. Now I hope that sentiment does not come true at the moment. I think we have had enough snow here over the last few years not to need any this year, unless it falls on a Friday night and is clear by the Sunday ..yes that would be perfect snow ;0)

I would like to enter my card into the following card challenges;
Simon Says Stamp anything goes
The Paper Shelter Christmas is coming #92
Visible Image Christmas
Party Time Tuesdays Anything goes #96
Paper take weekly free time for all - use a sketch I have used Sketch #51 which I have rotated.
I love Promarkers anything goes #145

I am off to our local Frost Fair at Honeywood  this afternoon for an afternoon of carols, mulled wine and cakes...I cannot think of anything better. Enjoy the weekend everyone.

  3. Jane, once again you have made me smile :D and I am going to head over to your friends shop and have a look at her bunnies :) We have a beautiful frost this morning, the ice was quite thick and crunchy, so was a lovely dog walk, crunching along with the sun shining, just the pick me up I needed after these dark weeks, and then a cup of tea and a read of your blog on a Saturday...what a treat :D I LOVE the German ornament, I so miss the markets we used to go to when I was little and living over there, I have my beautiful wooden ornaments for my tree that remind me of forgotten days.
