The Humans are bringing trees inside again

Hello everyone it's me, Billy, here. I have just witnessed that strange Annual Phenomenon where the Humans drag trees into their houses. I was fast asleep on my green chair but I woke up to such a commotion.
I decided to sit up and watch what they got up to.

In came a large fir tree which they stood up in a bowl. They then put on a set of snowflake lights. I thought that was enough but guess what..

they put on a second string of lights. I do hope that they can afford the extra electricity for this, after all I do need plenty of Felix food to eat. I hope this won't see me going short as it is pretty nippy out in the garden at this time of the year.

I went to settle down in my chair to go back to sleep but unbelievably they then started getting out lots of shiny ornaments and hung them on the branches. I thought birds were supposed to be in branches but hey I'm only a cat so I can't be expected to know everything.

I spotted men in the moon, well actually one was a bit pink so perhaps she was lady in the moon?

They even chained a fairy to the top... I have no idea why?

Jane is mad on gingerbread men this year so this is one that she bought from Harrods.

Also I spotted a new one on a spoon

and of course her old  Harrod's man from 1982 is hanging on the tree. It's strange because he doesn't seem to be getting any older. It must be something he eats...he is certainly looking good on it.

Well it seemed that they have finished hanging things as Jane stood back and took another photo.
She thinks she had a good view from where she stood -  well I'll let you know something.....
I had a cat's eye view ;0)
So I presume that this will be here again for another few weeks and that parcels will soon start to appear underneath it. It's a very strange time of the year when you are a cat...I must have a word with that guy in the red suit who comes down the chimney in a few weeks time..perhaps he can tell me what's going on. Last year we enjoyed a quick chat but he said that he was pretty busy and had to fly but he would catch up again with me this year. His reindeer were pretty noisy clopping around on the roof. I think he called one of them Rudolf...odd names some people choose for their reindeer.

Jane asked me to introduce her challenge card today. I hope you like it, it's another card which features another of these indoor decorated trees.

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley and it looks like the fairy from the tree flew down to pose for this. I am told that Jane coloured it with Promarkers and highlighted it with Prismacolor pencils.

Here it is in close up showing the gold card and the holly punched shapes. At least she didn't use lots of that glittery stuff on this one, it really does get in my coat when she gets crafting.

Jane enters these things called card challenges so I suppose I ought to list these for her...my paws have been working over time today. These are the ones she would like to enter.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. Jane is off out again tonight, at her Dancing ball, so she left me in charge of her blog. Her Cinderella shoes looked very sparkly last night and she did take a photo ;0) She will post that very soon.

I think it's time to get back to my nap now, thanks for visiting.

Jane will be back soon. She wanted me to say that it's only 17 days until the Big Day. I have no idea what she's going on about but she seems to be getting very excited about something. I really must have a word with that chap in the red suit.................

Bye for now,

Billy ;0) x

  12. Dear sweet Billy,

I'm so happy to see that you have the tree in already! And Jane did pretty great job with the decorations (and you were the most wonderful inspecting it all)! Please let her be a busy-bee this time of the year, she just can't help herself as she LOVES Christmas! I'm sure she will get you a thing or two under the tree you 'll love, so bear with her!

Happy Sunday, you sweet thing, and please tell Jane that her fabulous card is in my blog today! Thank you&kisses!

    Yours,

  14. What a cute post! Billy makes a great narrator for your decorating. I had to laugh about chaining a fairy to the top of the tree. I like the way you added the sheet music to the card too.
