I recently bought Tim's new vault multi level airmail embossing folder and decided to have a play. This is my first card.

This is how I made it;

I brayered prize ribbon distress oxide ink inside the folder and then added white card and ran it through my Bigshot Switch. Afterwards I rubbed lumberjack paid ink direct from the pad onto the raised areas and made this background.

I die cut some travel related die cuts from my old Tim dies and his travel side order from years back. I also used his stacked hearts set (seen in final photos).

I put everything together

and finally added the sentiment from the Visible Image Destination Unknown stamp set.

Here is my finished card once more.

Our May country view crafts challenge

 Hi everyone I am here today with my 1st design team make to hopefully inspire you to join our May challenge. The theme this month is to share your projects which are " aged, weathered, distressed or timeworn." You don't need a blog or an Instagram account, just head over to the group and join in with the fun! The link is Here and if you are not already a member just request to join and we will warmly welcome you. It is also be a place you can be the first to hear about workshops, the latest releases etc etc. We have a happy membership of over 380 crafters and we are growing every day. You can enter the challenges up to 5 times as you like as long as you use products from brands which are stocked on the Country View Website.

I decided to make a timeworn, distressed card. My background is a mix of distress spray stains inks . I used the lovely Visible Image dragon fly set stamp set "live in the moment" together with the embossing folder from the Vault floristry side order set and  die cut wild flowers plus some lace to achieve a timeworn, distressed look.

This is the card I made.

And this is how it came together. I used one of my spray stain inky backgrounds from my stash and an offcut.

I brayered the folder with scorched timber distress oxide ink and embossed the offcut in my Sidekick. I also die cut a couple of the wildflowers from the offcut of card,

I cut the card background to size and stamped and clear embossed the sentiment from the live in the moment stamp set.

Using these Versafine clair inks  I randomly stamped the rings from the stamp set over the background.

I stamped out the dragonfly and cut it out.  I added gold ink and glossy accents to the wings and let it dry.

I chose some vintage lace from my stash

and put my design together. I also distressed the edges of the card and embossed panel using my distressing tool.

Here is my finished card once more.

You've been framed with Country View crafts challenges

  Hi everyone I am here today with my 1st design team make to hopefully inspire you to join our April challenge. The theme this month is "frame it." You don't need a blog or an Instagram account, just head over to the group and join in with the fun!

Here is my first card for the theme. I have framed my "Lady Rose" using my Bigz Floral frame, roses and a piece of embossed card using the Botanical 3D embossing folder (the mini one is here coloured with distress crayons.)

And this is how I made it.

First I sprayed Prize ribbon and Chipped sapphire distress stain sprays  onto a piece of card and when dry cut to size. I added some background stamping using stamps from Lady Rose.

I embossed a piece of card using the Botanical 3D embossing folder

and coloured using distress crayons.

I stamped Lady Rose, cut her out and coloured her using distress watercolour pencils and also die cut a Floral frame.

I then stuck these elements onto the 3D embossed frame.

I also stamped 2 of the rose flourishes in the stamp set and coloured those with distress watercolour pencils.

I then stuck everything in place

The sentiment is from the Visible Image Go to words stamp set.

Here is my finished card once more.

I made this card for my daughter's recent birthday. As an avid gardener she loved it.

A Visible Image golden wedding.

Hi everyone and welcome to my fortnightly blogged design team post for Visible Image. We are now heading into a hopefully, flaming June, and the beginning of summer. Summer is popular time of the year to get married and to celebrate wedding anniversaries.  My card today has been made for the golden wedding anniversary of my son in law's parents.   Yes 50 years of marriage. (My husband and I are not far off as we celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary next month). This is the special card I made for them. As such It has lots of extra details. Obviously you could scale these down and use the basic design to make something similar.

I used the following Visible Image products;

Anyone for Anyone for bubbles? stamp set

with their coordinating dieswith their coordinating dies

and the anniversary sentiment from

Plus for the background the Bubbles and fizz

and the "Heart ink" stencil.

This is how I made my card.

 I cut a piece of white smooth card 4 1/2" by 7 1/4". I sprayed a little squeezed lemonade distress stain spray and added a mist of water then dried using a heat tool (or leave to dry).

Using the Bubbles and fizz stencil I added some colour using the 3 distress ink pads shown below with a round foam blending tool.

I die cut a "50" using gold card with the balloons dies.

Next I placed the heart ink stencil near the top of the card and blended through wild honey distress ink.

I stamped the "fizz" stamp inside the heart using Morning mist Versafine Clair ink.

I stamped the bottle onto green card using Nocturne Versafine Clair. I repeat stamped the image onto white and gold card and cut out the elements as seen below. I then "decoupaged" them onto the green bottle.

I also stamped the glasses using Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and coloured them using antique linen distress ink applied with a paintbrush. I stamped a few bubbles inside the glasses. I stamped the Congratulations and Happy anniversary sentiments at the top and bottom of the card and clear heat embossed them. I then adhered the bottle and glasses in place and added some gold pen detailing.
For some extra dimension and shine I added Glossy accents to the glasses and some dots of it inside the heart. When dry I matted onto gold then black card and finally onto a white card blank cut from an A4 sheet of card.

For a finishing touch I added some of my signature sequins.

Here are a couple of close ups

and one final shot.

Sparkle in the rain

Hi again I am here today with my fortnightly blogged design team make for Visible Image. I decided to make a card, the sentiment of which may well resonate with anyone who is going through a tough time at the moment.  I used 2 lovely stamp sets which work so well together;

Sparkle in the rain

and Look forward with hope

Together with the fun Scribble stencil

This is what I got up to;

I put the stencil onto a 5 1/4" square of  Daylor Rowney mixed media card, using the smoother side,  and sprayed through twisted citron, mustard seed and picked raspberry distress stain sprays and left it to dry.

I stamped the girl from Sparkle in the rain using Nocture Versafine Claire ink and clear embossed.

I stamped one of the sentiments from  Look forward with hope in the same way, to the right of the image.

Then I used the other stamps from both sets to add some background stamping.

For a finishing touch I went around the edges of the card with picked raspberry ink on a blending sponge.  This was then matted onto black card and finally a square white card blank.

Here is my finished card

with a couple of close ups

 and 1 final shot
