More stamps and confetti for the June STAMPlorations theme and photo prompt challenge

Hello I am back with some more inspiration for our current June theme and photo prompt challenge over at STAMPlorations.
You can choose to go with the confetti theme, go with something from the photo; perhaps the colours or image..or as I always love to challenge myself to do...both. If it is not obvious please just let us know in your post. Please remember to add our challenge logo to your post if you would like to be in with a chance of winning.

As always I like to challenge myself to the theme and photo prompt. Here is what I got up to.
I worked with the following awesome products and have added live links to them in my post. Remember if you use my unique code STAMPGIRLJANE at the check out you can get an additional 20% off on top of any existing discounts! Shery ships internationally at very low cost too.

All the details can be found here.

Clustered hearts  stencil
and the
Just sparkle Say it Big sentiment stamp
I sprayed cut grass dylusions ink and candied apple, wild honey and twisted citron distress stains onto some watercolour card.
Then I added Stickles glitter get through the clustered hearts stencil. I cut the card to size and mouted it on green cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment onto green vellum and gold embossed it. I tore the edges.
I then added some ribbon, brads and gems to finish off my design.
Here it is
(it was SO hard to capture the sparkle in my photographs!)
with a close up of the sparkly sentiment

A summer fairy bauble for STAMPlorations

Hello I am here today to share my very first project using the awesome brand new CRAFTplorations shapes for sale now over at the STAMPlorations web site here. The lovely Shery posted me over a selection of shapes to play with and boy did I have fun.

The weather this week in South East England has been just perfect...this is my tiny outdoor space where my studio is and I am inspired by Mother Nature every time I walk outside.
You can see my sweet studio calling to me.
and here are some of my recent flowers I planted up in my pots.
For the first time my edelweiss has bloomed.
My hanging baskets are starting to bloom too. This is one of my begonia flowers.
So I sat down at my desk in my studio with the lovely shapes Shery sent me and had a play at how they might even fit together.

I was drawn first to the sweet fairy as I love fairies and I love moons. There are different thicknesses and materials to choose from, do take a look at the website. Mine is the 3" high, 3mm thickness MDF and you get 9 in a pack in this material. Isn't she gorgeous? Shery cuts everything herself on site using her laser cutter.

I rested her down on top of
 the #1 Christmas bauble
as I had just finished a  "Zoom" online crafting session with my 6 year old granddaughter  Daisy. We  made a Christmas card online together on the hottest day of the year! (yes she is her Nanna's Christmas loving granddaughter indeed!)
My version is the 1.5mm wide MDF and you get 12 pieces in a pack.

This gave me the idea that the 2 would work together perfectly as a non Christmas hanging bauble. I could then send it as a gift to my little  Daisy, who I have not seen now for over 2 months.
I decided to make a magical starry sky for her.
First I painted the whole of the bauble with my Smurf  PaperArtsy Fresco paint. There is no need for Gesso or an undercoat at all with these paints. They also dry almost instantly.

I decided that to be magical my stars needed to be pink so I used Bubble Gum Fresco paint through my Oh my stars ARTplorations stencil

I painted the whole fairy with Vanilla Fresco
and then added some details. Her dress and shoes are Bubble Gum paint again.
I stamped a lovely sentiment from Fond expressions 2 using black Archival ink
and then added details to her wings, hair and moon using gold Kuretake watercolour paint.
Once she was dry I stuck her to her starry sky using Decou-page glue.
I finished off with some polka dot ribbon so that Daisy can hang her up.

I held her up in my garden for fun
and then realized that right next to my studio was the perfect prop....my baby Christmas tree from 2019 who will be coming indoors again to hold my vintage tree ornaments and chocolates this December.

So this just shows that baubles are not just for Christmas are they?

There are lots of lovely shapes that Shery sells which will fit onto the baubles. They will make such sweet inexpensive gifts to post.

Before I close I have some exciting news that Shery has kindly offered to sponsor a giveaway. If you would like to win your very own fairy and bauble blanks plus the fab Oh my stars stencil here's how;

I am delighted to be posting today for the Stencil Sunday feature using the fabulous ARTplorations stencil range. This feature runs for 3 Sundays in the month over on the main STAMPlorations blog. Here on my personal blog I am sharing some closer details and photos of my 4 favourite stencil techniques, which have been showcased over on the main STAMP blog. You can see here. I have provided links to all the products throughout this post and remember that if you use my unique code STAMPGIRLJANE at the checkout you can save 20% on top of any current savings.

This is quite a long post so do grab a cuppa!

For my first technique I sprayed using distress oxides through my stencil using
Anchors away
on the left is the first print and I then just turned the inky stencil over to get the print on the right. You get 2 for 1 with this technique!
I also worked with the True north set
and a birthday sentiment from Party time
Here is my finished card
my second is a layered technique using
Using distress inks I inked through part of the stencil and then moved the stencil and used anther colour. I repeated this until I achieved the background I wanted.

I just added several layers and then stamped the bold sentiment
enough from the say it big series and heart and patches from romantic expressions 1
 to finish my card.

My 3rd technique used some crackle paste through the

I added a sentiment from Trendy butterflies 1 to make this card.

and my 4th and final technique is a really fun one using Ranger alcohol lift off ink through the

I used the sentiment and image from blossom like a butterfly to make my final stenciled card.

So there we have it , 4 of my personal favourite stencil techniques and 4 finished cards. Which is your favourite?

I hope you found my step by steps helpful and that they may inspire you to play with your stencils. Remember that all the stencils (and stamps) I used today are available on the main STAMP website here and if you use my personal discount code STAMPGIRLJANE at the checkout you can save 20% on top of any other discounts which are currently available.
