More Christmas inspiration for Country View crafts challenge

 Hello this is the 2nd of my 2 design team makes for our December "Christmas" theme challenge over in the Country crafts Facebook challenge group. I made another card using all Tim Holtz products and I have linked the products I have used which are the CVC website.

The link is Here and if you are not already a member just request to join and we will warmly welcome you. You can enter the challenges up to 5 times as you like as long as you use products or brands which are stocked on the Country View Website.

This is how I made my card.

I used pine needles, iced spruce and rustic wilderness distress stain sprays for the base background. I used the mini holiday 4 stamp set to add some background stamped imagery.

I used Versafine Claire inks for all my stamping.

I stamped the sentiment from the set onto a scrap of white card and also die cut out some wreathes.

I added a little sparkle with some drips of distress spritz

I used the foilage vault die sets for my die cuts.

I stuck the sentiment across the wreath and more elements from the vault festive wreath die set. I then added some sequins, die cut snowflakes and Stickles glue for some finishing sparkle.

Here is my card once more.

Winging it with the Country View crafts November challenge

Hi everyone. This is my first "winging it" card.

I haven't used my Lavinia fairies for a while so I decided to get them out of their tin. Some of mine are quite old but Country View Crafts has a very good selection on their website here  I used her with a sentiment from the Visible Image lost for words set available here to make a birthday card.

This is what I got up to;

I used an inky background from my stash made using my Tim Holtz stain sprays available here . I used wilted violet, villainous potion and kitsch flamingo for this one.

I stamped and clear heat embossed the fairy and sentiment using versafine clair nocturne. This is out of stock but there are lots of other colours here

I used some other colours to stamp some Lavinia foliage then added a little sparkle to her wings.

I finished off my design with some sequins and white pen details.

Here's a close up

The theme for October is "Halloween" so we would like to see all your spooky makes. I love Halloween crafting and each year make 6 Halloween tags to add to the little Halloween gifts I give to my kids and grandkids.

Obviously my go to products to reach for are from my Tim Holtz stash. This man has so many amazing products to choose from and CVC stocks loads.

This is my first tag

and this is how it came together.

I used my fab Tim Holtz 3D wings Impresslit to create some spooky wings for one of my Paper dolls. I used black card and added some distress crayons . My paper doll  from an old pack but there are plenty of solo Paper dolls available on the CVC website here

I made my background using the Acorns texture fade. Again I used black card and distress crayons then I splattered on some distress mica sprays for some added bling and interest.

I also stamped out a pumpkin, a sentiment and an old Tim spider die cut and put everything together, Here is my finished tag again.

More autumn richness for Country View Crafts September challenge

 Hello everyone, it's time for my second blogged design team make for our September Country View Crafts challenge hosted over on Facebook. You don't need a blog or an Instagram account, just head over to the group and join in with the fun! The link is Here and if you are not already a member just request to join and we will warmly welcome you. You can enter the challenges up to 5 times as you like as long as you use products or brands which are stocked on the Country View Website.

I am the host for this month and the theme I chose is "autumn richness". So I would like to see makes using the colours, images, leaves, animals etc of autumn.

My 2nd make is an autumn wreath birthday card made for my dear Dad's 92nd birthday on 26th September.

I used Tim Holtz' Vault foliage wreath available here and a sentiment from his Floristry stamp set

This is how I made it.

I made a background using these distress inks.

I used the new vault foliage wreath set and die cut 2 wreaths using kraft and brown card. I stamped the happy birthday sentiment from the Floristry set onto a piece of white card.

I love die cutting and cut out a whole load of foliage. I will have spares for extra cards.

I added the foliage to the wreath

and then die cut D A D using an old alphabet set in green and black card.

I also die cut some hearts and added these too. I matted onto green card and then a square kraft card blank.

Here is my finished card again

plus a close up.

I hope I might have inspired you to join us? We have this awesome PaperArtsy stamp set and printed tissue prize up for grabs for one randomly selected entry.

You can enter up to 5 times too!

Autumn richness for our September Country View crafts challenge

 Hello everyone, it's time for my first blogged design team make for our September Country View Crafts challenge hosted over on Facebook. I am delighted to be the host for the challenge for this month and I have chosen the theme "autumn richness" So I would like to see makes using the colours, images, leaves, animals etc of autumn.

This is my make, a birthday card for my best friend who's special day is on Thursday. It was inspired by all the wonderful acorns I see ripening on the trees. To me this is always the first sign of autumn.

I used the gorgeous Acorn Tim Holtz 3d embossing folder available here. I coloured it with distress mica crayons and added some splashed of distress spritz.

This is how it came together;

First I embossed my piece of white card using the 3D folder. I coloured it with a mix of regular and mica distress crayons.

Once finished I thought it looked a little bare so I got out my distress spritz

and flicked some over the background.

I stamped a sentiment from Tim's  Floristry stamp set and matted everything onto gold paper and then a white card blank.

Here are a couple of close ups;

and 1 final shot.

I hope I might have inspired you to join us? We have this awesome PaperArtsy stamp set and printed tissue prize up for grabs for one randomly selected entry.
