STAMPlorations new collage papers

Hi Everyone I am here today to share some of my makes with the gorgeous new STAMPlorations collage papers.  You can find the whole range in the store HERE. There are some fab bundle deals and the paper subscription service is also back Here. If you are not in the USA there is also an international offer, so do check everything out.

The papers are Artisan quality and printed on 70# matte paper. The sheets offer a substantial, professional feel without the bulk. The matte finish ensures no glare, making them perfect for photography and filming your process.   At 5.75" x 8", they are perfectly sized to serve as full-page backgrounds for standard journals, or to be torn down into smaller clusters, tags, and tuck spots.

I was sent the beautiful Faded botanicals set (above) to play with and designed several cards using them. There are 3 different designs in the pack. The papers are fantastic to use as a "stand alone" card front with a few gems and a sentiments. I also had fun paper weaving with scraps and using them with existing stamp sets. Here are 4 of my first makes;

I cannot recommend these beautiful papers more highly. Shery is also sharing all the Design Team makes using the different paper sets over on the STAMP blog here; Do check them out.

Also remember that if you use my unique code STAMPGIRLJANE you can take 20% off at checkout. (This is not valid for subscriptions,. just physical products in the store).

I have shared process photos of some of my cards over on Instagram, where I share much more content than here on my blog. Do check out my account here @jane.tyrrell. I would really love to see you join me.

However unusually for me I do have another blog post up this Thursday (19th March) as there is a brand new release from Simon Says Stamp . It is the  "In my heart" collection and the stamp set I was sent to design with is beyond cute. Do pop back to see what I made.

Thanks for stopping by,

Jane x

I made this card for some design team inspiration using the beautiful  Say it big Magic sentiment and the Romantic expressions 1 stamp set.

This is how I made it: I created a distress ink background using squeezed lemonade, kitsch flamingo, peeled paint and picked raspberry.

I stamped the sentiment with a heart border around it.

I stamped the envelope onto a scrap of white card, coloured the flap and stuck it in place,

I then matted it onto black card.

New card fronts from STAMPlorations

Hi everyone I am delighted to share one of the new products that Shery of STAMPlorations is launching today. She has 14 gorgeous new card fronts in her online store. You can see all the card fronts now available here .

I was sent the new Vintage flowers set to play with.

There are 4 beautiful floral card front designs in the set, 2 of each designs, making 8 in the pack. The cardstock they are printed on is beautiful quality and really thick (325gsm).You can see all the designs here. Of course you can simply attach them and make an instant card but I had a play with 3 of the designs and made these 3 cards.

I thought you might like to see a few process photos for my designs. For this card front below

I cut it into 4 equal pieces

added Trendy blooms and make a wish die cuts
 and made this card.

For my 2nd card I stamped and white embossed the sentiment from the Thank you coffee stamp set, onto black matting card. I cut across and around the bird to make 2 separate parts.

I stuck the top part onto black matting card

added foam tape under the bird

and stuck it slightly underneath the top part to make this card.

For my final card  I die cut the card front using one of the Crazy double running stitch rectangle nesting die

and added some Trendy blooms die cuts. The stamped sentiment is from  Thank you coffee. I adhered the "waste" in place on red matting card. I raised the card front using foam tape, stuck it in place

and made this card.

For my made I decided to use another in the gorgeous new paper goods which Shery started selling this year. The set I used is one of the colorables sets Doodled coffee and tea

These are such sweet images to colour..... I love the little tea bag...such a dear little extra detail. These images are really simple to colour, I just used my watercolour pens but pens or pencils work just fine too. The card thickness and quality is awesome.

I added a mix of infusions to some card and then swiped some glitter gel through the hearts all over stencil for my card front

I then added some picked raspberry distress ink to the edges. You will see the details more clearly in the final photos.

I die cut the smallest of the crazing running stitch rectangle dies and stamped one of the sentiments from the always tea time stamp set
I added some picked raspberry distress ink and adhered the colorables in place.

Here is my finished card

and a final shot where you can see the stenciled hearts shimmering.
