There was an amazing glass display cabinet showing these sparkling shoes. This was catching everyone attention. I decided to get side tracked and go into the special "Store"
Cinderella was at the entrance and I wandered inside.
There were lots of little and not so little girls trying the shoes on and buying them. The smaller sized shoes had no heel but the larger sizes had a 3" one and looked stunning. (Yes the "shop" was a bit pink for me ;0)
There were rows of the sweet shoes, arranged in sizes, on the shelves. Each pair was in a special box tied with ribbon. I got talking to one of the assistants and I commented how gorgeous the shoes were and that they should be make in adult sizes. To my astonishment she said that they were and that as they are a limited edition they had nearly sold out of the adult sizes!
Now I have been looking for some "bling" shoes for Christmas parties etc and I could not resist trying a pair on. To my amazement they are as soft as gloves and despite the heel just so comfy. I decided that a pair just had to come home with me
This is the special box they came in.
They came wrapped in tissue paper. Even the inner linings of the shoes have a pretty image.
And here they are, my very own "Cinderella slippers". I am so delighted with them and yes....I shall go to the Ball...but I wonder what will happen once the clock strikes midnight?
(I know I shall never grow up, I am just a really big kid at heart but they really are a fabby pair of party shoes. They sparkle beautifully and I am sure will get some comments when I wear them, perhaps I shall say they are Jimmy Choos ;0)
My card for today needs to have a heavy dose of sparkle so here she is, my little Fairy Godmother who could grant any Christmas wishes with a wave of her Christmas wand ;0) With only 47 days until the Big Day that would be very useful.
She is actually called Hokey Pokey made by Nelly Snellen and is one of my newer stamps which I have only just inked up. I coloured her with Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils. I added some sparkle to her coat using Glamour Dust. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. The papers are from my stash. (Edit 9.11.12 I have been asked where I bought this backing paper...after a lot of trying to remember I found that it is a digital paper I bought from Shery K Designs. I have emailed the owner to see if she is happy for me to post a link here to her shop and will post one if she is happy for me to do so). The snow was made using my Viva pearl pen...I love this product. I hand punched some snowflakes and holly leaves too using gold card. This card has already been sold but I do have another version for sale in my Etsy shop here

It's a lovely sunny day today and has warmed up nicely. I am about to head out to my Garden Studio for a few hours crafting. I am still trying to catch up with my Bag charm orders, thanks to everyone who bought them. We have got tickets to see Skyfall tomorrow night, I can't wait. There are some films that just have to be seen on the Big Screen and this is one of them. Happy Thursday everyone and thanks as always for taking the time to visit me here.
Back soon,
Bye for now,
Jane x
