Some December shimmer for STAMPlorations theme and photo prompt challenge

 Homespun Christmas

Christmas in the heart

Holly background stencil.

and the Crazy running stitch die

This is what I got up to;

I made a shaving foam ink reinker background (there are lots of tutorials on line for this very old technique)

I added some extra distress ink

I stamped and white embossed the Christmas in the heart sentiment onto the smallest of the Crazy running stitch dies

and added a few die cut greenery pieces and "snow" to finish off.

More contrasts for the November theme and photo prompt STAMPlorations challenge

Hello I am back with my 2nd design team inspiration card for our November theme and photo prompt challenge over at STAMPlorations. 

I has certainly turned wet and windy here over the weekend a real contrast to the sunshine of last week. 

 My dinos and the ducks love it!

with the coordinating Christmas reindeer dies

Here is what I got up to;

I used pine needles and candied apple through the  Holly background stencil, 

I stamped the Christmas reindeer  onto red card (I only used the largest in the end) and cut them out using the  coordinating Christmas reindeer dies

I stamped and white embossed the Peace love and joy typografia stamp onto red card and die cut it using one of the shaped dies in my stash.

Then I put my design together.

25 days of Christmas tags 2020

Hello and a very warm welcome to my blog.  I am delighted to be a part of the 2020 25 days of Christmas tags which is 10 years old this year.  This brilliant event is organized by the lovely Tracey of In My creative Opinion. Please do check out her blog. Today is Day 6 and if you have missed any of the previous days do check them out. I think this year we need every piece of glitter to cheer us along through the coming months.

This is my make

I worked with the following fab STAMP products;

Manilla tags nesting dies

Snowflakes stencil

Christmas baubles stamp set

and 

Let it snow sentiment die

and here is how I made it;

I pressed salty ocean, tumbled glass, frayed burlap and weather wood distress inks onto my craft sheet adding some spritzes of water and then picked up the colours, drying between layers.

Using the largest die from the Manilla nesting dies 

I die cut a tag.

Then I applied glitter frost through the snowflake stencil

I stamped and gold embossed 3 ornaments from the Christmas baubles set onto a spare piece of the inky card .

I cut them out and then added glitter thread strings and satin glitter ribbon bows. 

I also die cut the Let it snow sentiment die in gold card. I then assembled my design.
