STAMPlorations Spring Fling blog hop

Hi everyone it's that exciting time of the year when STAMPlorations are celebrating with a SPRING FLING with a blog hop and Linky party which starts today. 

I am delighted to be taking part in the blog hop and this is my design team contribution for some Spring fling Inspiration. 

I made this card

I used one of the images from the gorgeous Color me Spring ATC set. You get 3 sets of these brilliant. images in a pack. 

I made a distress ink background and stamped butterflies from the Fluttery stamp set and a sentiment from Party time

I stamped the main plant pot image from the Fluttery stamp set,  cut it out and coloured it.

I also stamped, coloured and layered up the 2 butterflies. My finishing touches were some sparkly sequins. Here is is once more.

For my made I decided to use another in the gorgeous new paper goods which Shery started selling this year. The set I used is one of the colorables sets Doodled coffee and tea

These are such sweet images to colour..... I love the little tea bag...such a dear little extra detail. These images are really simple to colour, I just used my watercolour pens but pens or pencils work just fine too. The card thickness and quality is awesome. 

I added a mix of infusions to some card and then swiped some glitter gel through the hearts all over stencil for my card front

I then added some picked raspberry distress ink to the edges. You will see the details more clearly in the final photos.

I die cut the smallest of the crazing running stitch rectangle dies and stamped one of the sentiments from the always tea time stamp set

I added some picked raspberry distress ink and adhered the colorables in place.

Here is my finished card

and a final shot where you can see the stenciled hearts shimmering.

I used one of my shaving foam marbled distress ink backgrounds from my stash and stamped the bold sentiment coffee always

I stamped some of the cups and mugs from sketchy cups

and cut them out.

Then I  put my design together.

For this make I decided to use the same die cut with a different card front from the gorgeous new "Quick card fronts" which Shery has in the store. I used the set called Spring florals which are available to buy here. You get 8 card fronts in a pack and they are the most AWESOME thickness and quality. If you want to make quick quality cards then these are a must buy. 

First I die cut the thanks word die in blue glitter card and stuck it on the card front and added a little distress ink shading to the edges.

For this card I decided to add some extra die cuts using the lovely trendy blooms die set

I die cut some flowers and leaves from inky left over papers from my stash.

and adhered them to my card front.

For my make I wanted to showcase the gorgeous new "Quick card fronts" which Shery has in the store. I used the set called Spring florals which are available to buy here. You get 8 card fronts in a pack and they are the most AWESOME thickness and quality. If you want to make quick quality cards then these are a must buy. 

You can just use them as they are or they are fun to add a little stamping to.

This is what I did;

First I die cut the thanks word die in purple glitter card and stuck it on the card front. Then I stamped and cut out the butterfly from Blossom like a butterfly

 I also stamped and cut out some flowers from It's a girl thing;sunshine

I stamped a few more flowers onto a background of blue card and then added the card front to finish.
