My holiday revealed

Well we are home again having had a wonderful holiday. To those who were intrigued by my little riddle... we went the the sunshine island of  Rhodes...such a perfect destination. Rhodes truly is the sunshine island with more hours of sun than any of the other Greek islands.
Spot the similarity to last year's photo? This was taken at 9am before the sun had even come across the beach...such a place to relax. We stay in the tiny resort of Pefkos, for us it's perfect, so quiet.

This is the best place to have a cool drink overlooking the beach.

We had 7 days of dawn to dusk sunshine with the sky the most azure blue and with a shimmering sea underneath to match.
We hired a car too so that we could visit some of the wonderful sights Rhodes has to offer.

This is nearby Lindos with the Acropolis.

I shall be back to write some more about our wonderful trip including our visit to Rhodes Town and the Butterfly Valley but I just wanted to share a little taster with you. It is actually a beautiful day here too and the sun is shining as I write, sending you all some more summer sunshine too.
Bye for now,
Jx

Oh, it seems so beautiful, Jane! I have never been in Creek Islands but it seems lovely, the sand, sun and sea! I am also grateful any sun you can send my way, it's not that pretty here :(

And you tan...is it wonderful too :) ?

Yours,
Mia

I shall send you lashings of lovely sunshine Mia :0).We have been lucky enough to stay on several of the Greek Islands, they are all glorious places to holiday. Yes the tan looks great but I am sure it will fade fast as we draw towards the "a" word but it still is definately summer here today.

Welcome back Jane! It looks like you had a great time. It's all so beautiful. :)
Lovely to have sunshine all day every day! Although I have to admit the weather is lovely here today, so if you're getting the same at least you'll get your washing dried!
Looking forward to the next instalment. :)

Hi Vivienne, glad you have got some of this lovely sunshine and yes it really is the perfect washing drying weather, the last 2 loads are on the line as we speak. How is that holidays seem to generate a month's worth of washing? All worth it though as it was gorgeous out there.
