Bloom you own way with STAMPlorations

Today I'm sharing my latest STAMPlorations Design Team project, featuring one of the new Simple Expressions stamp sets. This one is called Bloom, and I absolutely love the positive message “Bloom your own way.”

I teamed the sentiment with the beautiful Blossom Sprays #5 floral stamp and the Bold Florals stencil. I wanted to create something bright, colourful and full of flowers, so I used Distress Ink through the stencil to create the pink and blue background.

I teamed it with the bold florals stencil

I wanted to create something bright, colourful and full of flowers, so I used Distress Ink through the stencil to create the pretty pink and blue background.

I used the outline "Bloom" stamp first with the sentiment and teamed it with the beautiful Blossom Sprays #5 floral stamp.

I coloured the flowers in shades of purple and blue using distress watercolour pencils

I then used the solid bloom stamp to add the colour and added some sparkle to the petals and flower as a finishing touch. These stamps are super easy to line up.

I love how the bold background works with the delicate floral image, while the large BLOOM sentiment remains the focal point of the design.

Sometimes we all need a little reminder that we don't have to follow everyone else's path — we can simply bloom our own way! 💜

This new range is so pretty, do check them all out here

You are my sunshine

Hi everyone! It’s time for my fortnightly Design Team make for Visible Image.

After the wonderful, sunshine-filled summer I’ve enjoyed, I wanted to create a card that captured some of those happy summer memories. For this card, I chose the Sunflower Grunge stamp set.

to make this card.

I wanted to give the card a slightly retro, summery feel, so I used kraft card and my Prismacolor pencils. I repeat stamped the Sunflower head around the edge of the card in dark brown ink and clear heat embossed the images. I stamped a single sunflower with leaves in the centre. I also stamped the sentiment at the top (seen in later photos)

I selected my pencils

and then started adding the colour.

I used the lightest yellows first and moved up through the shades then blended in some orange.

I also added some white highlights.

Once I had coloured all the flower heads  I added shades of green to the leaves using the same process.

I matted the finished card front onto a piece of yellow card and then a kraft card blank. I added some sequins as a finishing touch.

Here is it again

with a close up

and 1 final shot.

The finished card really does remind me of those oh-so-sunny summer days of 2026 – a little bit of sunshine captured on a card! 🌻☀️

Back soon… and, shhh, there’s a new release in the pipeline! 👀

Remember that I share share all my crafting on Instagram here too

Also after 7 years...LOL... I have resurrected my Pinterest acount here and I will be adding all my latest makes to it!

New Classic Christmas Perfect Pairs

I’m back with a 2nd post to share with you a brand-new concept from STAMPlorations – Perfect Pairs! Check them out here

If you love creating beautiful handmade cards but sometimes find yourself searching through your stash for the perfect sentiment, background or embellishment to finish your design, you’re going to love this idea.

Perfect Pairs brings everything together for you.

Each collection combines a coordinating two-stamp set with a pack of beautifully designed coordinating ephemera cuts. The two have been designed together from the very beginning, so everything works seamlessly together.

I was lucky enough to receive the Perfect Pairs Classic Christmas available here collection to play with, and it really does make creating a Christmas card wonderfully simple. The Classic Christmas collection contains a two-stamp set featuring a sentiment stamp and a coordinating background stamp, along with 11 full-colour ephemera pieces

If you missed my first make check out my post here

This is the card

Today I'm sharing my 2nd make. This card is even quicker to make than my first sample.

I selected the Nutcracker and bells from the Ephemera pack and gold embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black card.

I added some extra sparkly twine to the bells to give added texture and sparkle.

I added a little distress ink to the white edges (you can of course keep the edges as they are but I am a bit of a grungy girl and like to ink them!).

I just used gold paper and a square of gold mirror card to create the front of my card and adhered my elements in place. I raised them up on foam pads to add some extra dimension.

And that's it! No inky background, just gold paper and mirror card!

Do check out this brilliant new product on the website here.

and for 20% off use my unique code STAMPGIRLJANE at checkout!

Remember to follow me over on Instagram here to see my creative makes. I post most days.

New Perfect pairs from STAMPlorations

I’m delighted to introduce you to a brand-new concept from STAMPlorations – Perfect Pairs!

The Classic Christmas collection contains a two-stamp set featuring a sentiment stamp and a coordinating background stamp, along with 11 full-colour ephemera pieces.

Below is some of the co ordinating paper ephemera.

For my first design team card I repeat stamped the background sentiment stamp onto a distress stain spray background.

I found some hessian in my stash and frayed the edges, using one of the pieces to create a bow for the cinnamon stack piece of ephemera. I stuck the hessian down with glue.

I created a little tag with the sentiment and created a bow with the thread from the hessian,

I adhered everything in place and added some sequins as a finishing touch. Below is my finished card.

Here is a close up of the sentiment tag and the gorgeous ephemera.

and one last shot.

The ephemera cuts are beautifully printed and generously sized, so they can easily become the focal point of your card. Simply combine them with the coordinating stamps and you have a finished design with very little effort.

And that's what I particularly love about Perfect Pairs – there's no guessing which elements will work together. The colours, images, sentiments and designs have all been created as one complete cardmaking concept.

You can keep your card beautifully simple, or, of course, add your own favourite inks, dies, stencils and embellishments to make the design completely your own. This is the link to all the sets available for now

Although I've been playing with the Classic Christmas collection, these little ephemera pieces would be perfect for so many festive projects.

Think Christmas cards, gift tags, holiday greetings, festive happy mail and even little decorations. You could also use the stamps and ephemera separately, giving you even more possibilities. Plus if you use my unique discount code STAMPGIRLJANE you can save 20%. Just enter the code at checkout.

So whether you're a new card maker looking for an easy way to create beautiful cards, someone who is short on crafting time, or simply someone who loves products that coordinate effortlessly, Perfect Pairs takes away a lot of the guesswork. Do check everything out on the STAMPlorations website here

I will be sharing more of my makes over the coming weeks. Please also remember to check me out here on Instagram where I share new makes and creative inspiration most days.
