More Inspiration from the new "The light you carry" release from Visible Image

Hi everyone!

Today I'm back with my my next design team make and more inspiration from the fabulous new

It is available here.

There are still some brilliant money saving new release special bundle deals over on the website.

I have already shared these 2 cards on Social media

and  a card using

For this card I used the Let go set

and made this card

This is how it came together:
I used a rainbow palette of distress stain sprays.

I stamped and cut out the large bird and hands using white card and black ink,

Using the same colour palette I painted some details on the bird to match the background.

I left the hands uncoloured to add to the effect and stamped the sentiment at the bottom centre of the background.

I matted it onto red card and on to a white card blank.

Here it is once more.

I particularly love the image of the outstretched hands, which works so beautifully with the simple but powerful sentiment “letting go.”

There's something very uplifting about this design. To me, it represents freedom, release and the courage to move forward.

I finished the card with a simple black mat to frame the artwork and allow those gorgeous colours to shine.

I hope my card inspires you to explore this wonderful release and perhaps experiment with some bold colours of your own.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

More Simple expressions inspiration for STAMPlorations

Hi Everyone,  Today I'm sharing my latest STAMPlorations Design Team project, featuring the gorgeous Bloom set from the Simple Expressions
The set features separate solid and outline versions of the focal power word "BLOOM", plus a perfectly paired coordinating script phrase: "your own way".
I previously shared a mixed media card using this set here. This time I made a pair of Clean and Simple cards.

You can find this set here.

✨ The Creative Idea Behind the Design:

This is Artsy Layering Made Simple: Stamp the outline design first, then layer the solid word over it in a contrasting ink colour. They are designed to celebrate the beauty of handmade art — there is no need to perfectly line up your layers! The true magic is in an intentional "wonky" or slightly offset layout. However me being me I like to line them up!

I also used 2 cards from the Spring florals card fronts pack available here . There are 8 gorgeous designs in the pack.

These cards were so quick to make. I stamped the Bloom outline and sentiment first in black ink in the white space on the card front.

Then stamped the solid word stamp in coordinating colour inks.

I adhered the card front to coloured card panels and added some die cuts using the  Trendy blooms die set

I mounted them onto white card blanks and finished off with some sequins,

You could use this design in any colourway and easily batch make them too, Do check out all the Simple expression sets in this release plus all the fab newbies over on the website here.

Joy to the world with STAMPlorations

Hello everyone I'm back today with another of my STAMPlorations Design Team makes, and this time I've gone for a bright and cheerful Christmas card full of colour!

I've used the lovely Winter Village stamp set

with one of  the new STAMPcuts retro Christmas sentiments.
STAMPcuts™ are ready-to-use die-cut typography pieces that add bold, beautifully layered sentiments to cards, journals, scrapbook pages, and creative projects.
So these aren't simply "sentiments" -- they're "die-cut typography pieces". There are 16 ready to use in a pack for just $7

I first stamped the buildings onto white card and cut them out.

I created a colourful background using Distress Inks in traditional Christmas reds, greens and yellows. I love the way the colours blend and create such an interesting, slightly grungy effect.

To add some texture and interest to the background I added some stamping using the

I used distress ink to keep to the grungy feel.

The stamped musical details add another layer of interest and are perfect for the joyful Christmas theme.

I added gold glitter pen details and windows to give the impression of lights glowing inside.
I then arranged the houses across the card to create a little festive scene.

The bold Joy to the World retro sentiment takes centre stage, and I finished with a few colourful stars.
I really like how the crisp white houses stand out against that vibrant background. It's a great mix of traditional Christmas colours with a slightly contemporary twist!

And finally over on the back of my card I stamped a little handmade touch which finished off everything.

Yes it's another new stamp called  Maker's Mark #1 This lovely little set has all these words, perfect for adding to the back of you handmade cards or projects.

Remember if you would like to buy any of these or any other products over on the STAMPlorations website you can take 20% off your order just by adding my unique design team code STAMPGIRLJANE at check out.

I hope I have given you some inspiration to get started on your Christmas cardmaking. It's only 73 more sleeps...ho ho ho!!!

All wrapped up with Visible Image

Hi everyone today I'm sharing my latest Visible Image Design Team make, and this time I've been having some festive fun with the fabulous All Wrapped Up stamp set!

Rather than making a Christmas card, I decided to create a pair of handmade gift tags, perfect for adding a personal touch to Christmas presents. 🎁

These are great fun to make;
I stamped and the gorgeous parcels and wrapping paper from the set onto pink and green patterned papers and onto white card.

I cut out the small patterned paper parcel and the one from the background and added gold pen accents to the ribbons. I also cut out the patterned end of the roll of the paper and the turned over corner. I cut around the whole scene on the white card

I then layered them on top for some dimension. I used kraft tags for a lovely vintage feel, and stamped the spool. I also stamped the sentiments in pink and green adding the fun  "tape" stamp to the edges.

I added the little coordinating presents and two of the fun sentiments, "No Peeking!" and "Handmade with love at Christmas".

I mounted them on gold card  and some gold ribbon finished them off.

I love how these turned out. They're a little different from traditional Christmas tags and would look lovely tied onto gifts wrapped in brown kraft paper.

It's always fun finding different ways to use our stamps, and these tags were a lovely change from making cards.

I hope they give you a little inspiration for your own Christmas gift wrapping this year?🎄❤️

You can check out all the Visible Image range on the website here. and once again the All wrapped up set is here

The new Simon Says Stamp Sending Cheer release

Hi everyone, today the gorgeous new Sending Cheer release from Simon Says stamp launches. You can see it here.

I am delighted to share some festive inspiration using the new Christmas Ornaments 2466msc stamp set available on the website here.

This set is a gorgeous set of layering stamps. I’ve made four projects with this one set — two cards and two Christmas gift tags — and deliberately gave them quite different looks to show just how versatile these fun retro-style ornaments can be.

For my first card I went for a cool, frosty look with a watery blue distress ink stain spray background and three brightly coloured hanging ornaments. I added white die-cut foliage using my Tim Holtz Holiday Greens mini along the top edge, a little sparkle and the Deck the Halls sentiment. A few gems on the ornaments added even more Christmas sparkle.

My second card takes a much bolder direction, with a vibrant rainbow distress stain sprays background. I added playful streamers made using the Tim Holtz streamers die set. I stamped and cut out one of the ornaments to create a dimensional focal point, finishing the design with colourful sequins. The Glad Tidings sentiment from the set finished it off.

And I couldn't resist making a couple of coordinating gift tags too. I kept these much clean and simple, using individual ornaments with the stars stamp and sentiments from the set. A little red and white twine and they are all ready for Christmas parcels.

I always enjoy finding different ways to use the same stamp set, and I think these would be great designs for batch-making Christmas cards and tags too.

The new Sending Cheer release launches today, 8th October over on the Simon Says Stamp website  with lots more festive inspiration to come! 🎄❤️
