Dino duck (Egyptian geese) progress

I am delighted that 7 of the original 12 dino babies are doing really well over at Beddington Park. I have also noticed that another pair have a very secret nest around the back of the lake so I am hoping in the next couple of weeks to see another new clutch of fluffy babies.

I think they are this pair who were at another area up until a couple of weeks ago and then disappeared. I call them Derby and Joan
The photo below was shot from a long way away, they are in a really sensible location for their nest. I am pretty sure it is the same pair from where I call the "Fish pond"
Here are some of the first baby dinos, taken a few weeks ago.

Growing fast. They trust me so much (or is it the food they like? 😄)
Then this photo below is from last week. You can see they have nearly all their adult feather now, they are so very beautiful. These are 5 of the 7.
There is also another pair of dino ducks down at the ponds who managed to get 5 of their 12 babies to toddler age too. They are real balls of fluff and look like mint humbugs.
They are so funny the way they stretch out their legs and all huddle together
and they are enjoying pond life!
I will keep you posted how my nested "Derby and Joan" get along.

My project to share today is a tag I made recently after watching Tim Holtz' awesome Facebook lives.
All the stamps and stencils are by him and I think the sentiment fits really well. I made the background with distress inks.

Stamps and confetti for the June STAMPlorations theme and photo prompt challenge

Hello I am back for the 2nd time today with my design team post for June for STAMPlorations.
We have a lovely June theme and photo prompt.
All the details are here
You can choose to go with the confetti theme, go with something from the photo; perhaps the colours or image..or as I always love to challenge myself to do...both. If it is not obvious please just let us know in your post. Please remember to add our challenge logo to your post if you would like to be in with a chance of winning.

I worked with the following awesome products and have added live links to them in my post. Remember if you use my unique code STAMPGIRLJANE at the check out you can get an additional 20% off on top of any existing discounts! Shery ships internationally at very low cost too.

Hearts all over stencil
and the Romantic Expressions 1 stamp set
As always I like to challenge myself to the theme and photo prompt. Here is what I got up to.
First I made my background. I added a mixture of distress oxide spray inks to a piece of mixed media card.

Then using the stencil and my new Stickles glitter paste I added hearts to it.

I stamped 3 envelopes and one of the lovely sentiments onto white card stock. I cut out the envelopes and die cut the sentiment.

Then I put my design together.
with a couple of close ups

Summer fields for Country View Challenges

Hello and welcome to our 6th challenge of the year from Country View. How the months have raced by. For June we would like to see your "Summer field" inspired projects. The details and my teamies projects for more inspiration can be found here;

During Lockdown our verges have not been trimmed although our parks have been kept pristine so I am not complaining. The weather for the last 10 weeks has been just amazing and I have so enjoyed being out in my garden and the local area. The interesting thing with our street's grass verges is that they have become miniature summer fields to me and inspired my make today.
One of the very pretty plants to see ,and yes I know it's classed as a weed, are the dandelion heads.

My little granddaughter loves to blow these.
and of course my sweet granddaughter is called Daisy.
So much beauty in my grass verge summer fields.
I remembered that I have a couple of Lavinia dandelion stamps in my stash so I chose a couple to make my card with. Susan does not have my exact one but she does have this one plus lots of lovely Lavinia designs on the website here.

For some extra fairy magic I decided to ink up the fabulous dragonflies from the Live in the moment Visible image set.
I made my background with distress spray stains which Susan sells here
I stamped my fairy and the dandelions
and then added the dragonflies. I also stamped some of the dragonflies onto card and added glossy accents to their wings. Once dry I cut them out.
Here is my finished card.
