This post shows my second guest design piece for Tracey over at Noor! UK designs. I wanted to make something summery and mellow so I decided to make a card using the Joy! Wild flowers Silhouette stamp and the butterfly edge die. This is one of my all time favourite butterfly dies and I use it lots. You will even see it in my Travel Journal post posted earlier today.
I also thought I would play some more with my Bister powders to make some backgrounds and this is the one I selected to stamp my flower. I cut it down to suit.
I used plum archieval ink to stamp with.
I wanted a really vintage summer feel to my card so I cut a hessian backing and also added a faux stitched border to the stamped image using a gold pen.
I die cut the border butterfly and trimmed off the last small butterfly on the left
and added it to the card as an accent with a little gold gem
I would like to enter my card into the following fun challenges;
Penny black and more add a sentiment
Love 2 create anything mixed media
Craft stamper take it make it...use a stamp
Natalie and Amy summertime
Little Claire's in bloom
The Ribbon Girl anything goes with an image
Simon says stamp Monday anything goes
My garden flowers are certainly blooming well at the moment...there is so much inspiration in my garden.
Thanks for visiting me especially if this is your second visit today (!) and a very warm welcome to my latest followers.
