Hi everyone, I am here today with my 2nd design team make to hopefully inspire you to join our March challenge. The theme this month is "Mother's day/use a flower or floral image as your focal." You don't need a blog or an Instagram account, just head over to the group and join in with the fun! Here is my first card for the theme. I am delighted to have used a stamp set from the BRAND NEW Visible Image release. Susan has this and the whole range, including the stencils, in stock here.
They are all gorgeous. For my Mother's day card I used the new Precious life set with the Mother's day sentiment from the Golden Daffodils set. I went for a clean and simple card to really show off this beautiful floral image.
This is how I made it;
Using a stamping block I added squeezed lemonade, mustard seed and worn lipstick distress inks and mono printed a background.
When dry I stamped the flower and sentiment in place using Versafine Nocturne and clear heat embossed them.
and added some sequins. Then I mounted onto red card and job done! A nice easy CAS to make.
