I am delighted to be guest designing today for my great blogging buddy Kerry of Ladybug Crafts Ink. She has another fab new digi stamp release out today called Bloomin' Fabulous. I decided to go for really bold summery colours for my piece and I also wanted to make her an accordion card to showcase my lovely stamp.
Here is my creation and the stamp I used is called Bucket O' blooms. There are 12 gorgeous new floral stamps in this release do check out the website here. They are only £1.75 each and instantly down loadable. There are also lots of prizes over at the challenge blog here.All you need to do is leave a comment on the challenge blog...how simple is that? Do join in the fun and you could win some digis which are perfect for this gorgeous weather. There is also an anything goes challenge to join in with.
Here is a close up of the stamp which I coloured with Promarkers and added some highlights with Prismacolor pencils.
This is the sentiment I used which I generated on the computer.
and one last shot;
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

My own garden is blooming marvellous at the moment, my pots are looking so summery.
Thanks for visiting, enjoy the rest of the week. It's Wimbledon fortnight so no doubt rain will feature at some point ;0) It's also my last silversmithing class of the year, where on earth did that time go?
Back soon,
Bye for now,
Jane x
Got the very same Jane and just happened yours was the latest post on my reading list when I went to my blogs, otherwise like you have no idea who else has posted. Mine was fine first thing yesterday then the hissy fit started mid morning.
ReplyDeleteReading the Blogger help threads it's been happening on some blogs for 2/3 days and Blogger sates in reply it's a "bug" which they are working to resolve. Hmmmm - I wonder ?
Anyhow as I said just happened this was the only post I saw and what a beauty it is, I love this die and you have inspired me to get it out.

Got so carried away there Jane I forgot to say thanks for joining in at Allsorts, a perfect creation for my theme.

ReplyDeleteI too am having the problem with Blogger's Reading List and like Brenda have been researching the Blogger forums, to which they are still saying that it's a 'bug' that they are trying to resolve! I do have a few blogs in my Blog List so these show up in my sidebar!
Love your pretty accordion card and your garden is looking nlooming marvellous too! Hugs, Lisa x

That was meant to say Blooming marvellous! Don't you love a typo?! X
ReplyDeleteWell your card is blooming gorgeous Jane, I love orange and purple together such a lovely combination!
ReplyDeleteThis blogger problem is a bit of a nuisance, I as you know don't blog on blogger but I use the dashboard to keep up with my blogger friends, luckily though I also transferred all you blogger people on to bloglovin a while back so thankfully I can keep an eye on you all there.
Enjoy that lovely garden of yours my friend.

Your card is wonderful! What have you been making in silversmith class? I'm hoping you'll show us. I'm doing a trade bead display at Vista House this coming Sunday. That will be fun. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteI am having the same problems and mine started yesterday morning too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous creation, love the colours and the gorgeous paper and the image looks stunning.
So very sorry but I forgot to mention you on my post, think it was the frustration over the reading list.

Gorgeous card with lovely bright summery images. To get round the blogger problem at the moment Jane I have added a Friends Blog List to my sidebar so that I can at least see those who I comment on as often as possible and they come up in time order of the last post so that is really useful to me. It doesn't take long to add. Hope you are enjoying the week and some sunshine xx
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors on your card! Also the real flowers in your garden! I always plant Cosmos too as they remind me of my grandmother's yard growing up. I also plant Cleome for the same reason, She called them spider flowers. A hot and humid day here but I am not complaining one bit!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
