This is his tag.
As usual I have none of the dies he used so I decided that my card version would be very summery and I got out my dragonfly bigz die with its texture folder.
I only have 1 piece of material...a win a long time again so it was Hobson's Choice what I would use.
I stamped my background with lots of lovely butterflies
then added the tissue with some vintage matt medium. I really like this product.
I used my bark stencil to create a pattern in inks on my material.
I cut out my dragonfly and if you would like to see what I did with him take a look at my Tintinnabulation post here...
Here is my finished card.
I added some faux sewing as my machine is back in the loft.
and added some wildflower die cuts using some snippets of inked card.

ReplyDeleteI love the use of fabric Jane, that is clever and it looks great.
ReplyDeleteShowery here this weekend too and I'm afraid the week hasn't started off that brilliantly either. :(

Gorgeous creation and lovely photo's Jane. xxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous aperture of the butterfly but does this mean you have none of the blue denim left! Just saying. Your photos of your garden look great in all the different shades. The black/white and the sepia make it look very 1950's. Love the effects your getting. Thank you for fluttering by again. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful creation Jane! The fabric looks amazing! Thank you for sharing with us at the Ribbon Girl, good luck and I hope you will join us again.
