Hello and if you are a first time visitor here to Jane's Journal a very warm welcome. Today I am taking part in the STAMPlorations new stencils blog hop.
This is to celebrate the release of 8 brand new stencils by Sanna Lippert Designs.
You can see these fab new stencils here
There will be 2 winners, randomly selected from comments left on all the participating designers.
One person win a $20 gift voucher to spend at the web site shop
Two winners can select their 3 fave stencils from the new range.
All the details for the hop are here
I chose to work with Senicio 1
and Christmas trees 1
and I have made 2 cards today to showcase these awesome new stencils.
First up is my card using Senicio
I used black card and Candied apple distress oxide ink through the stencil
sprinkled on some embossing powder and heated
and got this cool effect
I used it as a background for the card below using the Trendy birds 2 stamp set
here is a close up of the background
For my second card I brayered a Christmas plaid background using paints
and then added glitter pastes through the stencil.
A sentiment from the Christmas reindeer completed a simple Christmas card to show off this awesome stencil.
I would like to enter my card (or both if appropriate) into the following challenges;
Simon says stamp Wednesday anything goes
Winter wonderland 1/3 red and green
Fashionable stamping nature
Rudolph days challenge November
