Dancing into February

Good morning we have arrived in February and unbelievably I have 3 posts coming up today!

This is my first one as being the first of the month it is of course time for our February Country View Challenge. For this month the lovely Sue has chosen the theme of Black and white or black/white and one colour.

I don't usually craft in black and white so I decided that my "one extra" colour would be red. I used a stamp set by Visible Image called Born to dance and made an oval die cut background for her to perform in. I used some music score in the background and added a ribbon to her dress.

I love the Tim Holtz 3 D die and used the flourish and laurel which I die cut in white.
I also die cut his celebrate handwritten words in red glitter card. I used some very old backing paper from my stash and put together this card.

Here are a couple of close ups

I would like to link my card up to the following challenges;

Simon says stamp Wednesday anything goes
Addicted to stamp and more 1/3  anything goes
The crafty addicts 1/3 anything goes
Crafting from the heart 1/3 anything goes
Crafty Hazelnut's patterned paper challenge January
Die cuttin Divas 1/3 anything goes
Crafty sentiments 1/3 anything goes
Crafty Card makers 1/3 add some texture
As you like it 1/3 Favourite shape or fold and why mine is a 7X5" card blank...and the reason; they display much easier on my shelves than square ones at Dotty's Tea House where I sell my cards.

You can enter our February challenge as many times as you like and combine with other challenges. There is also a £20 crafting voucher up for grabs to the lucky randomly selected winner to spend over on the Country View Crafts on line store. Remember that UK postage and packing is absolutely FREE! All the details for the challenge can be found here.

My 2nd DT post for Country View will be on 13 February.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for the kind comments you take the time to leave me.

My 2nd post today is coming up at 11am,

See you  later,

Bye for now,

Jane x
