I am delighted to be posting today for the Stencil Sunday feature using the fabulous ARTplorations stencil range. This feature runs for 3 Sundays in the month over on the main STAMPlorations blog. Here on my personal blog I am sharing some closer details and photos of my 4 favourite stencil techniques, which have been showcased over on the main STAMP blog. You can see here. I have provided links to all the products throughout this post and remember that if you use my unique code STAMPGIRLJANE at the checkout you can save 20% on top of any current savings.

This is quite a long post so do grab a cuppa!

For my first technique I sprayed using distress oxides through my stencil using
Anchors away

I also worked with the True north set

my second is a layered technique using
Using distress inks I inked through part of the stencil and then moved the stencil and used anther colour. I repeated this until I achieved the background I wanted.

I just added several layers and then stamped the bold sentiment
enough from the say it big series and heart and patches from romantic expressions 1

My 3rd technique used some crackle paste through the

I added a sentiment from Trendy butterflies 1 to make this card.

and my 4th and final technique is a really fun one using Ranger alcohol lift off ink through the

I used the sentiment and image from blossom like a butterfly to make my final stenciled card.

So there we have it , 4 of my personal favourite stencil techniques and 4 finished cards. Which is your favourite?

I hope you found my step by steps helpful and that they may inspire you to play with your stencils. 19. Jane, all of your techniques are awesome, and I want to give them all a shot. But I have to get a few supplies first...., lift off ink, crackle paste, namely. Your techniques created some gorgeous cards. And the anchor card is great because you used both papers on it.
