Fly away

If blogger behaves itself and correctly posts this scheduled post, when you read this I will have flown away on my holiday..........
I will have jetted away to sunny climes. I took these photos last year on the plane on our way to Rhodes and never posted them...I really like them so I decided to share them today.
There is something rather special about the view from a plane isn't there.

I have packed these to read, holidays are the only time I get time to read fiction!

I have also pack a few crafting supplies so that I can work on a holiday journal whilst I am away.

So today's card challenge has to be holiday related. I made it just for fun for my Hb with distress inks and added a fun seahorse stamp by Red Lead which I then repeat stamped on grunge paper for extra depth. The little beach themed words I printed from my computer. The great bubble stamp is by Ryn. The shells are grunge paper which have been inked and crackled with crackle paste.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

Mixed Media World Vintage
Artistic stamper summer is on its way
Rubber dance sunny sand/yellow/ ocean green/blue colours
Stamp and Create summer fun
Cute card Thursdays summer colours
Take it make it texture my texture is the crackle on the shells and also the grunge paper cut out seahorse
Cute card Thursdays summer colours
Anything but cute make it masculine
Noor! here comes summer
The Craft Barn For the man in your life

Now I can hear you all asking...where have we gone? Well this is a place we last visited just before I started blogging so I will tease you with a couple of  photos taken 5 years ago.......and let you guess.....this will be a similar view from our balcony..
and here is the local town we can walk down to...
any ideas??

Back soon,

Take care,

Bye for now,

Jane x
