Beside the seaside

Good morning, I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We did as we caught up with our family down at the South Coast on Sunday. It was nearly a whole month since we had seen then, them! It is always so good to be beside the seaside too.
My Hb and I even sat and ate an ice cream down at the sea front and watched the world go by for 10 minutes with Daisy while Jack had his after lunch sleep. Just bliss, very special moments.
It is of course time for my Monday make for Visible Image.
Today I have used one of the 3 lovely new sentiment sets. This one is called
Look forward with hope So many really positive sentiments, suitable for all occasions.
I decided I wanted to make a seaside feel card. I added some distress oxides to speciality stamping card and then added some "sea" using paints.
I then added fossilized amber distress oxide ink through the strobes stencil
I decided I wanted more texture so I added texture paste through the strobes stencil in the same area. When dry I found that the sunshine in the set fitted perfectly inside. I also added some Glossy accents to the sun which you can see in the final photos.
I stamped some of the clouds directly onto the crackle and others I stamped onto card and fussy cut out.
I stamped and coloured one of the sweet dolphins from the mythical mermaid set
and fussy cut him out. I added a little sheen with Spectrum Noir sparkle.
I also stamped some waves using the stamp in the mermaid set. I then stamped the don't look back sentiment from the set, added the dolphin, a little white ink highlighting and my card was finished.
 Am couple of close ups

And one final shot.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

It was such fun chatting to customers who had no idea just how much goes in to making handmade cards! They were fascinated by how I made some of my inky backgrounds too.

Back soon,
