Happy New Decade!

Good morning and welcome to a brand new decade. Were you out late partying? We spent the evening at our daughters and saw it in over a glass of bubbly. Wow 2020, it seems like we were only celebrating the millennium and worrying about the millennium bug (what nonsense that was) just a few years ago but that is now 20 years back.
We have enjoyed some lovely sunny days and my dino ducks are enjoying their feeds too.

As it is the first of the month too I am here twice today, firstly this is my January  design team post for Country View Crafts.
We are kicking off this new decade with "love" theme challenge. So we would like to see all your love themed creations and one lucky randomly selected entry will receive a £20 gift code to spent on the website.
All the details can be found here.

For my first "love" project I used some distress inks
The numbers from Visible Image alphabetical
and Tim Holtz Love stencil. I added hearts through the stencil.

I randomly stamped the year over the card.
I then die cut some hearts and a clock face using old Tim Bigz and thinlets dies.
The sentiment is from the Visible Image go to Christmas words set
A couple of close ups

and one last shot.
I would like to enter it into the following challenges;

The Inkspirational challenge 1/3 photo challenge
Simon says stamp Monday party time
Simon says stamp Wednesday party time

I hope I may have inspired you to join in with our challenge. You can use any stamps/products, the choice is yours.
You can enter our challenge as many times as you like and combine with other challenges. There is also a £20 crafting voucher up for grabs to the lucky randomly selected winner to spend over on the Country View Crafts on line store. Remember that UK postage and packing is absolutely FREE! Once again all the details for the January challenge can be found here.

I will be back with some more love inspiration for CVC on January 19th with another love card using the same clock die but in a very different style.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I am back later with my 2nd post of the day....the 1st of the month is busy busy!!

Bye for now,

Jane x

  1. How lovely and peaceful the pond looks with the low-lying sun sparkling on the water. Your clock looks great against the layered background, and the red gives a lovely glow to the whole card.

(Oh, and sorry to disagree, but I've got some tech friends who say that the reason the millennium bug didn't cause chaos was because a lot of IT people worked extremely hard for many months in advance to minimise the coding problems!)
