Last weeks of autumn

Winter really is just around the corner now and the trees are getting bare. Mother Nature is getting ready to sleep. Autumn this year has been glorious, I don't think I have ever seen so much colour in the leaves, or is it just me?
Even though most of the leaves are on the floor now they still look stunning.

My dino ducks are nice and plump ready to face the cold weeks ahead.
When I fed them last week there were 21 all in one pond!
It's time for my fortnightly Visible Image design team post and I decided to make a memory of the gorgeous autumn I have enjoyed. I chose to make a wall hanging for my studio.
I used the Beautiful soul

the leaves from Erika's maple
and 2 sentiments from

I also used the Time tunnel stencil
This is what I got up to.
I sprayed Hickory smoke, ground espresso and tarnished brass distress inks onto watercolour card. Once dry I added texture paste through the stencil and again left it to dry. I then painted the texture paste using gold Gansai Tambi watercolour paint and added some flicks to the canvas as well as some of the ground espresso ink.
I stamped the medium leaf onto book pages and cut them out.
I then painted some gold details with the same paints.
I stamped the Beautiful soul onto acetate using Black Archival ink and clear embossed her
I cut her out roughly. I then added gold Glamour dust to her hair.

It is so hard to get the sparkle to show...her hair really is alight with colour!
I stamped the 2 sentiments at the edge of the canvas.
Here is my finished piece.
with some close ups where I am trying to show the glow she has.

and one final shot
