Spring time and a tree of life

Hello it is time for my fortnightly design team post for Visible Image. Spring is in full swing now despite the blip in temperatures over the last few days.

The blooms I have seen on my daily walks  have been stunning and these inspired both the card and the colour palette for my card today.

The stamp set I am working with today is called

Tree of life

This is what I got up to. I used blue and pewter distress ink sprays to create a background

I cut it down to a 5 1/2 " square and then added my stamping. I used the tree in the set as branches around the edge of my card.

I used every stamp in this lovely set.

I stamped both sizes of the leaves onto inky mop up card and cut them out.

I then stamped the leaves onto my card and paper pieced them with the leaves above. I added glossy accents to all the little circles to make them look like dew drops.

Here is my finished card. The sentiment is also so appropriate for now.
