October flowers

Good morning, happy October...just 3 more months left of this year...gulp! The lovely weather continues for now. These photos were taken as I took my latest cards down to sell at Dotty's Teahouse.

 It is also the start of our next challenge over at Country View Challenges and for this month the theme for this month is "Plantastic" ie anything plant, tree, vegetation related. All the details can be found here.
I have linked the products you can find over at Country View Crafts on line shop and remember all UK orders are posted FREE OF CHARGE!
For my first make today I went for a very floral make using silver embossing paste through my Tim Holtz lace stencil
I coloured his wildflower die cuts with distress markers
and used the amazing 3D Impresslits border, mini provincial with a little pewter highlight.
Here is my finished card.
The tiny stamped tags are very old LOTV from my stash.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

Simon says stamp Wednesday anything goes
As you like it 2/3 favourite season mine is summer as I do adore the long sunny day and the feel of warm sun on my skin. (But don't mention the C word as I love that too!)

We hope to see lots of you joining in our "Plantastic" challenge this month. Why not have a dig through your own stash and see what you have there to use and then share it with us?
The details again can be found here.

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments,

I am actually back again in 30 minutes as I also have my weekly Monday DT post coming up for Visible Image...and that one has a much more autumnal feel to it...stay tuned!

Bye for now,

Jane x

  7. How lovely - I love the textures in this, and that delicate wildflower at the heart of it. You've made the Impresslits borders look very tempting - that little touch of pewter is really cool.
